i used to use an stx-rc shimano one...just a bog standard 8spd...although the echo off tarty would pobably be the best choice in my opinon

vertical dropouts = has a gear hanger for mounting a rear mech or chain tensioner horizontal dropouts = perfect chain tension hence no need for a tensioner

ive always ridden stock and really like it...i cant see myself ever going to a mod...they just seem so small and cramped, i might consider a 24" but thats the smallest id go....id definitely say mods are better for beginners though, or younger ( smaller ) people

holy rollers are quite good...but i really like he maxdaddy's...not sure if you can get them in 26" though
