  2. Hm...stronger than Urbans Ali? I want front magura..I'm fed up with everything else. I snap Avid BB7 calipers, my Hope just wont bite properly (any advice?! )and if I went Vee I'd need a whole new setup. So it's back full circle to Magura which begs the question which forks? Cannot justify or afford trialtechs....at least new.
  3. Smart Guys? Opposite about Smart Guys or Fly Guys Ali? Same Leg as the Viz which is pretty damn similar to the Trialtech...just thinner steerer tube?
  4. Got some Fly guys and wondering what people though of them really...cant be bothered to go to the hassle of chopping the steerer etc if they're actually really weak or flawed in some way. I don't ride hard...do fair amount of taps and gaps to fronts but NO hooks. Will be running them front magura mount. Anyone snapped em? How long if above? Reason for the change is im running some disc only urbans and ive got pretty pissed off with my Hope Mono Trial...really want to go back to front magura, but dont fancy ripping these forks apart.

    Fork

The forks are way too long giving you some silly headtube angle and massively increasing the chance of you pulling the headtube off due to the silly leverage. Plus will ride like some silly chopper with a huge BB height.
  6. Stock Der Kaiser rear...Try-all front Mod Creepy Crawler rear.... kenda small block eight front 24 High roller rear.... dmr moto front
  7. Great company recommend muchly
  8. The top portion of a lot of bolts is bare of thread?
  9. Want a Z3R VERY badly...awesome geo if a tad short, great weight and great price

    Bb Problem

Maybe the threaded part cant exert enough pressure to preload the bearings correctly? Try tapping them down with a rubber mallet to seat them properly? If not new bearings will be needed I reckons
  11. Ignore em Canard.... Dunno if they had any specific weak spots, but they rode fairly nice. I think youd struggle to get a good example now?
  12. 3ft = 36" used to be a fair sized.....since the old TGS revolution that seems pretty small now, the average rider nowadays can do about 40ish I thinks?
  13. Nah dont do it dude, hold out for an RB designs blade like mine. PM muel
  14. Just look around for the later more rounded blade...circa 2001ish onwards. Try posting in the wanted section
  15. Im sure that just looks like an M6 bolt
  16. Really good liam, improving very fast Ride soon wee man
  17. No worries, luckily bashplates are slowly dying out for good reason....
  18. That is a 2005 Zoo pitbull....and check your wanted topic
  19. The weld where the bash mount is affixed to the downtube of the frame gives a massive stress raiser, a build up of force, along this very small area. This can cause frames to crack....and as is widely known aluminium will fatigue and snap under ANY load as long as it is applied enough times theoretically.
  20. havent used em but I think HolyRollers are the maxxis 70a compound...so not terribly grippy, but pretty long lasting
