Great hold and bite on a ground rim....wear life seems a bit poor from what ive seen though? Never seen them run on a smooth rim so cant really comment....

erm front hs33 is fine, just personal oreference really.....as for a disc there are two obvious choices ; Avid BB7 and hope mono trial...depending on your budget.

When the tpa is backed right off ( pads fully retracted ) when you pull the lever, do the pads move instantly as soon as you touch it?

I very much doubt it's the factory bleed at fault..... if it is though, definitely switch to water
