  1. .. and i believe tomorrow morning you will be feeling very old, not able to handle your drink like you could
  2. .. i thought so, shame some pillock on a bike kept getting in the way!!
  3. Thanks for that... at 44 you don't need to leap off huge things to have fun. In fact, it would probably be the exact opposite!! Trials is all about enjoyment and we have a level that makes us happy.. anyway, here is the bike watching the sun go down after a ride this evening... .. even some of me riding it HERE. robmitch is the good rider!
  4. Nothing special... just thought the sunset was nice tonight whilst Robmitch and I played down on the beach. a few more can be seen HERE
  5. Is there any results available anywhere online yet? ... or anyone know the top positions in each class.
  6. Added some more images... makes about 100 online now. ... smiling for the camera was optional!!! ... not a clue on the guys name but he was a happy chappy!!
  7. good man... once my new Beta Evo is around we will have to get you both over here for a play on the rocks!! We wondered around the sections in a sort of random manor but because of the wait that you riders had at most of the sections we always seemed to see the same guys riding them!! Not sure if anyone else saw Dave Kerr's rear wheel... the rear rim split half way around the first lap and he was to be seen hitting it with a large rock every few sections to flatten it so that it cleared the brake pads ... I have just uploaded some more... makes just under 100 images i think... and yes more of Scott and Ali
  8. just sorting through 200 images from the day... will get them online shortly.
  9. Just started to sort out some images from the British and European round at Hook Woods today.... ... around 70 uploaded so far but many more to come... HERE
  10. ... and he offered you a ride on it but we left just before the end!!!
  11. riding does get a bit better half way through... it was just the puke colour that did it for me ... kermit
  12. ... well, i love it. The +40 bb seems to suit me and i feel much more confident on it. I will even drop off picnic benches now, and not in one hopeful lunge but hop up to the edge and off. A vast improvement for me!! Here is the bike about set up as i will keep it now... ... and here is the bench !!! plus a few of me out playing. Got to keep the old joints moving you know
  13. Any idea if they are charging for entry to watch.... at last years moto championship event they did, but don't remember having to pay at this event last year. If anyone is not familiar with the place here are piccies i took last year... come and watch. http://s172.photobucket.com/albums/w18/r2w...ookwoodssept08/ http://s172.photobucket.com/albums/w18/r2w...kwoodsplaytime/
  14. Blimey... thats a bit posh for here, almost looks like they thought about it first!!
  15. i hasten to add this bodge was adjustable... if it was a bit weak at the lever i did the knot up tighter!
  16. I had a message from Martyn the other day to say that the frames etc are on the way and should be very shortly... middle to end of this month. Could even be in the country now... takes a while to unload a big cargo ship!!
  17. .. i could have used grass and cuckoo spit to repair that puncture
  18. ... you may notice that he has a 203 adaptor and disc fitted... could be why he keep ripping spokes from his 28 spoke radial laced hub Anyone got a 180 adaptor spare!! ... although, in the tradition of this post i could file that one down
  19. Whilst out riding with Robmitch this afternoon his Avid BB5 spring broke... he had an old bungey cord in his van so we cut it down and i used a strip of the elastic to assist in the return of the piston arm... see below... ... i went to agricultural college for 2 years to learn how to bodge, if it couldn't be done with a welder, big hammer and bailer twine it wasn't worth doing!!! So what are you best riding bodges?
  20. nice and stable on the flat bits, but a bugger to get up on the rear wheel!!
  21. What time is it starting on Sunday?... going to leave here loaded with camera gear around 7'ish. smile please
  22. seems to cover all requirements... and looks lovely in the black with a touch of white.
  23. One of the nicest looking bikes i have seen for a while... http://www.ozonys.com/site-internet/Page-g...cannibal-1.html
  24. Even for someone of my low riding ability this and others from the same stable really make me want to go ride... I think my favorite two videos from the vimeo collection i have are the Heged pair at the same trial park... http://www.vimeo.com/1688717 and http://www.vimeo.com/1761065.
