what he said, the car site niche is stupidly overdone now,i used to be admin on a car site with 4000+ members, getting over 2,500 hits a day(not bad considerin you had to be a member to view it ), because it was the only car site for our area when it started, then others tried copying, theyd get 100 or so members off our site joinin, theyd play on it for a bit, itd be dead,so theyd go back to our site. then our site shut down, and loads more set up, but as there was that many, none took off past havin a couple of hundred members. unless its something where your willing to put money into something which will ultimately be just for a few of your mates, and even then they will be affiliated with other bigger sites, then i wouldnt bother. just my 2 cents.

likewise, when i was 17, my first car after i passed my test was a 306, bodykit, alloys, subs, you know the usual chav mobile. anyway, back then carjackings round my end (considerin i live in a proper small town, school is the only one for like 8 miles, and it still only has 500 people in it) like 2 of the people who worked at my old skool had had it happen to them within 2 miles of where i lived, a couple of mates families had had someone in there family have it happen to them in the lanes round my house, and a few more people i didnt know from the town had as well. i.e they wer targetting our 3000 population town(presumably due to the millions of back lanes to get away down, and the number of people with modified/fast cars was quite high,the roads wer quiet, easy pickings) so i started carrying a police batton in my drivers side pocket, and a lock knife in my glovebox, and at one point, after using the shortcut down the lanes from where i worked at the time, after seeing 2 cars pop out of a field gateway and follow me, till i drove right into the centre of a slightly bigger town with a nice high police presence, and a busy nightlife, and parked up till they fecked off. i sh%t it every night coming home from work,to the point were one day i was travelling round with an air pistol under my seat(mainly a scare tactic) that soon stopped after a couple of days, but then one day i was parked up waiting for mates, and a copper came and asked me wat i was doing, he had a quick look round the car, but missed the batton in the drivers side pocket, and id removed the knife. i realised how stupid id been carrying weapons in my car. i now always keep an extendable wheel brace down in my drivers door pocket,yea it aint as glam, but itd work just as well, is perfectly legal to carry round, and if i ever did have to use it in self defence, itd look more heat of the moment grab something, than a premeditated attack, and if be a lot better off in court. now saying you want to purchase stuff such as cs spray/mace, id suggest not bothering, ebay sells a wide variety of stupid hot chili sauces, in a pretty much liquid form(the sort wer even dipping the tip of a toothpick in it, and licking it, will make you feel like your throats bleeding. now if i was to suggest mixing this bottle, with some water, and stickin it in a little spray bottle(perfume dispenser or the like would be ideal and you could get a good 5-10 bottles out of 1 big chilli bottle) youd understand that youd have something that could blind someone temporarily as well as cause serious discomfort, at a very cheap price, and be legal to carry round. likewise, a police batton, an extendable wheel brace. a knife, a screwdriver. many other items from around the house/available from ebay legally, could do a good job of doing what you want.. now, those are my own views on none lethal self defence(the key word being defence, if someones got a knife, and wants to do you over, using some chilli sauce to blind them for a few minutes, is fair game imo), if you want to go hurt someone(offence) badly be a man, and use your fists.

i dont know how/why, but ive always fell well above the minimum wage bracket, when working for cc at 16, i was on £5 an hour, when working for a posh restaurant as a KP. then as a chef, at 16 and 17, i was on £4.50 and £4.60 an hour. then in my current job, i started at 17, on like £7.50 an hour, now a second year apprentice, on £9.20 an hour, goes up to £10.00 something(possibly touching £11.00) for the next paycheck, as ill be 3rd year. this may seem a bit offensive, but its not meant to be, how does everyone get jobs that are bordering on minimum wage. i thought nearly everywhere payed well above, washing dishes for 150% the minimum wage, wasnt like i got the job cos of my gcse's any one could of walked straight in there and got the job. and now im only a mechanic, which is hardly a glamorous 50k a year trade.

you smoke it in a j? or a bong, or a pipe, to anyone thats truly experienced salvia(even 10x or 15x) its a hell of an experience. the words "preview of death" come to mind, ive tried it twice, once 15x, and once 25x, but ive been there when people have had it hundreds of times, and honestly when bonged, its very very rarely(like twice) failed to give totally crazy trips. I remember the first time i tried it i found myself on my hands in knees in my mates front room, staring up at the clock on there mantle piece, and to me it was leela from futurama, in one of those tanks they put the heads in, and the clocks face was her eye. and she was talking to me, im pretty sure this was influenced by the fact wed spent 3 hours that morning with futurama on the dvd player. second time i thought id try it alone,to see if i could get the real enlightening experience out of it(as im sure people around you laughing and prodding you as you do arent the best supports to letting you see into another dimension). i have no recollection of wat happened on the trip, i just came back into the real world, with all my limbs totally asleep, pins and needles in my legs, between the mattress and the bed in my mates spare room. but a few of my friends have seen freaky stuff on them, or imagined real crazy stuff, that they wer a speck of paint on post mans pat van(they wer on the couch), that they were swimming in green water(they wer lieing face down in the garden on wet grass) and another guy trying to hang off a clothes line, thinkin it was a zip line. it really is a mind altering legal drug, but i wouldnt advise anyone doing any drugs. legal or otherwise at all. theres just no real need for them. if people want to do them, to try them, then thats fair enough,or because they enjoy them, but could stop straight away, thats cool but when people do them for the sake of it, they need to calm down a bit i think.

for your information, ive tried salvia, read into it a lot. buti think weve got our wires crossed.as salvia comes under a load of different stuff(including the common weed/flower known as a fox glove, is a form of salvia) you mean salvia(possibly divinorum, or maybe a second strain is smokeable) as in the actual plant, can say thats probably not too bad,due to the strength of it. although have never tried it in that form to me salvia, is salvia divinorum extract (although obviously im aware it comes from a plant, just assumed due to wheres its typically grown it was a similar deal as weed to grow, so thought it wouldnt be sensible/economical for anyone to grow it rather than weed in this country) such as this salvia comes in mini plastic tubes(almost like test tubes) and is basically extracts from the plant leaves, dried, crushed and proccessed and sold for "botanical research and as a specimen only" but its always bought by people intending to smoke it, kind of thought your garden shop was selling this, or a proper botanical speciment version of it(the stuff sold to people smoking it, with botanical research on the side, is produced without pesticides supposedly, as its known 99% of buyers smoke it) and thought a botanical version of it sold to genuine gardners, would probably of been sprayed and treated. but in that form up there as you can see its expensive as hell(and a lot more if you just buy it from one of the shops that sell it(places that sell bongs, poppers etc)), its in a lot higher strength than what your talking about, so you can probably gather how much stronger the effects/trips are. and how much more of a harsh hit it has

yes you really want to smoke salvia.... not. its expensive, its horrible, im sure it can cause mental health problems later in life, as most hallucinogenics can(and it does some mad paranoia, psychosis style stuff during a lot of trips), when sold at garden centres its not intended to be smoked, so has most probably been treated with a million chemicals to make it grow better/preserve it. also you missed a i used to do pills.....but then i got high, style joke there, badly played

dont think nick was suggesting that we all stop washing, and start munching disco biscuits for breakfast, more that, how many people have you ever known die of soap incidents, and your more likely to hear of that, than an ecstacy death, its just tabloid press loves a story about a teenager who does pills once a month and took it too far, nothing like putting a whole bunch of shame on an already devestated family to sell papers is there. its all about personal experience as to whether your put off, bet if your brother died due to an alsation mauled him to death, youd be a bit apprehensive of all alsations(much in the same way all arabs are viewed by the pre pubescent forum members as terrorists) the majority get tarred with the bad points of the minority, likewise drugs will turn everyone into a raving loony, homeless, stealing car stereos for money so they can get there next fix. much in the same way, my mum would disown me if she knew id smoked weed, let alone put coke up me nose, as shes very very anti drugs, old fashioned doesnt understand anything about drugs. no paper ever reports the millions of people who have a brilliant night out on pills every friday and saturday night, and it costs them less than £15 for the night. i still hold by the fact i dont like pills, but thats purely because i know my mates bought and sold a bad batch, worries me a little. likewise if i found one of my mates got something bad off coke, id never of tried coke. theres nothing actually that bad about them in my opinion.

i was talking less as the constant addict, more as the lets go out and get mongo'd on a night out scale.dont know how many pills you drop, but some of my friends will drop 6/7 strong pills over the course of a night, and with crappy pills,i know one lad dropped 18 in a night. these same people do coke, quite often mixing the 2, but a few times its been one or the other. and if your doing a real heavy night, there consensus seems to be coke is a lot easier to deal with the next day. ive tried coke on 5/6 occasions, always just the odd gummy and the cheeky line and i always thought it was pointless, but then one night, the house decided to have a coke binge, i had a fair bit of money(was lending some of them cash so they could geta bigger amount, and said to myself, what the hell,im gunna try it once, just see whats it like, and ill do it properly, so got meself an 8th for £60(the household got a half for £240), half a g got sold on for me before i even touched the stuff, (i.e before it was given to me, so i got 3g for £40, ). i put the whole 3g up my nose in a 8 hour period, didnt seem all that crazy(i was drunk though), next morning at 11am the whole house had been though 14g, and they wer like "right we goin for the same again tonight" and at that point i just said nah,thats it, ive tried it, it wasnt all that, it was pretty expensive, im not bothering.

your obviously taking chalk, as opposed to proper strong coke then, either that, or your always around water/drink when your on it. was something none of my friends noticed, till we started going places(before you ask, ive done coke on a couple of occasions, but never will again) in cars for weekends/to festivals, and theyd do a small(i mean like half a matchstick) before they went. the amount of times everyone in the car needed one of us to stop and get them all a drink was massive, just try coke, and consciously try not to drink for a hour or so afterwards, you wont be able to do it,or youll be super dehydrated at the end, or youve got low quality coke. also danny a lad who needs a sponsor, so he can carry on riding, as he cant afford it, but goes sniffing the caine is a bit of an oversight if you ask me(not to mention, admitting cocaine abuse on a public forum, viewed by most of the sponsors in one way or another, is a great way not to get sponsored) as for side effects of coke, tissue wastage, heart palpatations, dehydration, theres plenty there. but to tomm, when asking is coke a safer bet than pills, id say most certainly yes, ive never anyone trip out on a coke comedown,(as there generally isnt a bad one, if one at all, just super tiredness once it all wears off) but have seen people playing whack a mole on there bed, hangin there legs out a 4th floor window cos there feet are on fire and it was raining outside, on eccy comedowns. also cokes a relatively clean drug, as despite it often being rather impure in many instances. if you know who your getting off, the quality is generally known, no dealers will selll you anything cut with rat poison etc(despite wat they may want you to believ in school videoss) if its cut badly, itll be done with glucose, teething powder, etc. but pills, even off my mates most reliable dealer, who theyve been buying off for years, every new batch is possibly a bad one. and its not like the bloke selling it to you knows wheres it come from. also im pretty sure theyve had bad pills before(my mate used to buy his pills off the guy in 500's and 1000's) and with one batch of 500 he got , his mate lost 300 of them, so only 200 or so got out to people we knew. i know of 3 people who said they had bad pills, and another 2 people who apparently had bad pills(they never confronted him or spoke to him about it, just the one girls sisters boyfriend mentioned it to us in passing) its never spoke about, but im pretty sure in that batch, there wer some dodgy pills, as out of 200 or so, he or the lad who he went in with, probably munched 30-40 of them, and they wouldnt notice/wouldnt admit it as its bad for business) no one ever knows whats in pills, all it takes is for a clump of mdma crystals to get stuck in the one pill you take, or a large amount of ket(as a load of the latest pills seem to be spiked with ket, which makes them less of a party drug and more of a feck yourself up in the house drug). and your gone. also pills are cheap, stupid cheap, anyone who can afford a 4 pack of carling on a friday night down the park, could put themselves in a serious state on pills/kill themselves. but to someone who was buying coke at street prices(i.e when i tried it, i got it at the price my mates pay who used to buy it by the oz) youd need £100(especially with the low standard of coke most people get) to put yourself in a state for the night. so the chances of you affording to be put yourself in a stupor which is likely to kill you, are quite low. but to answer your question, no dave, ive never tried pills, and never intend on it, as drugs go, there one of the dirtiest in my eyes.

im going to apoligise in advance in case im wrong here. and no offence meant to you at all. but boswell, your talking out of your arse. who told you the driving age was going up to 18 next year? wheres your official confirmation on this?(i.e a copy of the information with dates for the changes on a website(even the sun.com would suffice)) im willing to bet you now, £100 on it, that the driving age wont change to 18 next year. my reasoning for this 1) its been a rumour since i was 11-12, possibly longer, that it was going up "next year" (i.e 6-7 years ago now),its something which every 15/16 year old gets told. we just got told of older cousins etc, that wed miss out too. 2)itd be a pretty massive thing, i.e a lot bigger than the smoking age going up(as theres no sensible reasoning for keeping the smoking age at 16, yet the driving has plenty of reasons(thinking of the rural community, getting to work etc, that people go to university just after turning 18 quite often, meaning they wouldnt have enough money to drive till after university is over, meaning that there wil be a hell of lot of 21 year olds, with £15k of debt, a degree, but no ability to get to a job that isnt local) and the smoking age change is publicised enough. 3)ive never seen or heard a date put on this, with stuff like law changes, theres always dates put on it,smoking ban, age change, fox hunting etc. 4) its not a law gordon brown can just decide to change one day. to change it, itd be a similar process(and probably similarly contested(i.e rural people being highly against the change, so a lot of mp's from the rural areas would be standing up to oppose it, as would some from the cities, who grew up in the country and no how it was)) to the fox hunting bill. so for it to be passed, itd go a little something like this, gordon brown(although chances are by the time this law comes into effect, he wont be pm) will have thousands of meetings(which may already of gone on) with consultationers, high up government types, road safety officials, leaders from countries that have made similar law changes, then once hes made his mind up on it. hell take it to the queen, who is just a yes woman, shell then announce it at the opening of parliament, it would then have to pass through both the house of commons, and the house of lords, and the chances of it getting passed through both houses easily, are about as high as finding rocking horse sh%t. so no doubt it will take as long to go through as the smoking ban did, or the fox hunting ban, it wil then be announced its passed, with big publicity, a statement from gordon brown, and official dates outlining the changes. these dates wont be like "in 7 days from now, the driving age will change to 18" it will be a good 6-24 months down the line, as the time took to pass the laws, print out information leaflets on it all, inform all driving training agencies, change all the existing forms and leaflets,edit all the .gov websites(and allow time for all the bsm, aa websites etc to change) wont be a short process. none of this(Except perhaps a few consultation meetings for gordon brown) has happened, that whole process, even at its shortest, quickest route through parliament and giving like a 6 month period before implementation, will take at least 18 months, and in reality, if it gets the go ahead to go through parliament on monday, chances are it would be 2-5 years before it was implemented, if it even got through parliament that is. so id say if your 15 or above, youve got nothing to worry about at all. if your 13/14, theres a hell of a good chance it will be 17 when you turn 17. the only way i can see if effecting anyone on here(other than perhaps robbie peacock) is if in a total shock, gordon brown decided to up the driving age to 21, which would be a lot higher contested, and chances are wouldnt get through parliament, but if it took 5 years to come in, it could quite easily effect the 13/14 year olds stuck in nmc right now. infact with the law changing till your 18
