  1. Ended it with the girlfriend of about 2 weeks (pathetic I know). Felt no spark or motivation there, and I got pissed off with the way she acted on certain occasions. I explained to her that its me, not her, in an attempt to keep her friendly, but she didn't have any of it and immediately dispelled it as me seeing something wrong with her. So thats that, if she doesn't want to listen to what I have to say, then ultimately she's not much good as a friend.
  2. I only like the DOB. Its got the nicest set-up of any trials I've ever seen, although when your frame inevitably pops its clogs, you could get a much stiffer one.
  3. The area he left it?, the sort of people who would steal bike parts. Sorry to hear mate, its just the sort of world we live in.
  4. Ahhh hit me up with that mate!!
  5. Thanks for all the comments guys. As for the "Yea!"s, I think its down to the fact how Reece and I do a lot of riding in pairs (no other riders round here and only occasionally go on bigger rides). So we would set something to do for camera and of course ends in a "Yea mate!". I'll dub them out next time or just not say it, does sound really annoying. EDIT: Oh, most of the creaking on Reece's bike comes from the front brake lever and brake in general, I think his dry chain doesn't help either.
  6. Any reason why?, I've heard that DV is bit better quality but thats not a massive reason to buy it over the harddrive equivalent. I bought a Sony DCR SR55E (A hard drive camcorder), for £270 off Amazon. Quality is perfectly good quality for trials use, it has a 40gb harddrive (which I have come no where near to filling). There is a lower model than this (I think the hardrive is 10gb smaller and there is no remote control feature) for £220ish. All of my videos on Vimeo were shot with this camera, so you can see the rendered and uploaded quality for yourself. http://www.vimeo.com/user955015/videos
  7. Lostprophets - Broken hearts and torn up love letters. I personally think bike noises are key in showing someones riding style, gives you a sense to how smooth they are or not, etc, hence why I leave them in. Cheers for the comments so far.
  8. Heres a video of Reece and myself from the current spring months. http://www.vimeo.com/3651116 Most of the riding is from Braintree, and some clips from Norwich. Video quality didn't come out as good as possible, but I'm sure this isn't a bother to most of you. Definately be making another one for the summer. Ooh must credit Matt Bird also, as there is a clip of him doing a massive sidehop to rear from Norwich (merely used it to fill a gap in clips )
  9. Have you not seen Kumorowski? He was absolutely huge on his xtp2 (not sure if it was a long or short). Best video to show his size (shame about the lycra suit).
  10. It was no brakes at all. Best London ride video up, loved Kenny's moves.
  11. All I can say is Vimeo. =D The video isn't banned, but the music is removed, I've already seen Ben Travis' and Swindlehurst's videos have been affected by this.
  12. Inspiring stuff Tom, your tucks look a beast, and on this bike it looks like its pulling your limbs apart.
  13. Most likely won't be there, don't want to risk 2 rail replacement buses. National Express is the fail train.
  14. That looks like a universal light mount to me (well the actual clamp is quick release but why would you want that?) And why has no Halfords worker on here tried the usual Halfords technique, thats very disappointing. I may have a few kicking around at my work (screw clamp instead), I'm not in 'til Sunday, but if I can source a couple I'll drop them in a jiffy bag if your prepared to pay the postage. (If you haven't found any by then).
  15. I don't have a lot of dreams, and when I do they are the kind that are vivid and believeable when your dreaming them, but you have no knowledge of them when you wake up. One I used to have a lot when I was younger was a big open space (in some instances it would be desolated public areas, like an empty swimming pool where the water is lifeless and flat, obviously no-one is in it). And then after seeing a wide shot of the pool, lifeless and noiseless, a faint ringing begins which gradually builds up, as it builds up, the view of the pool is much closer, this continues until it is an extreme close up of the water and an unbearable ringing noise (almost like the noise you get when your ear has popped). Im not scared of swimming pools, anything linked with them, or experiences from them, so I can dismiss that theory.
  16. And in the sense of costs too, Onza are definately the cheapest pro spec frames on the trials market, and in such bad economic times. I've already boycotted the overpriced Deng and Try-All stuff about, its just ridiculous when another company can produce a frame with the same amount of dedication/thought at nearly half the price.
  17. I think even when COD MW2 comes out, COD4 will still be the one everyone will eventually go back to. Bloke I work with had a good reasoning behind it, there needs to be something radically different in MW2, in the same way that COD4 was revolutionary different in online play to its precessors.
  18. Yea I'm free on Saturday the 14th, would be down for that.
  19. They are near impossible in such a short time scale, and nowhere did anyone say a month ban. I can understand funny and easily achieveale feats, but how can someone (I assume school and working life) have the time to do pull this off (and nowhere does it give any pre mention of how big the challenges may be). Merely the reason why I haven't said the starting words, because I haven't got time as of current to do something like this.
  20. Diamondback make pink gloves, You can pick them up online or at most Raleigh dealers.
  21. Not true, as it is a franchise some Subway's condone on refills.
  22. Seems hardly worth it for 10 minutes of footage, why not just upload it to TrialsTube or make a little edit?
  23. I love the impromptu balance beam, never would have thought of that, must create a few different possibilites.
  24. Yes but BMXer's are on the weight weenie bandwagon, especially olympic eligiable ones. It just seems like a pointless thing to have on a race BMX, when do you need to use it?
