  1. Me and my mates had Boxx for a while, Reece on here has HAKA and has entered a few gaming/clan matches. We had DuDe yesterday and sent out loads of "Clan trials" messages so apparently get new members, but we literally made the clan up there and then, just got them in a private match server for 30 minutes, then told them they all did well but the clan didn't exist. =D COD now?
  2. Ah all sorted now, it changed my Automatic Configuration settings under LAN settings, cheers for the reply Tom.
  3. Ah Colchester sucks on a Saturday though. I'm gonna go for the Saturday option as Reece isn't working, and still can't think of somewhere to ride. =(
  4. Well pretty much I used a "Student moodle interface" to access my college work from home for the first time, pretty much an Intranet, but it Installed something on my computer to link it somehow (Juniho or something like that) to the college network. First time, my internet was all fine and connected, just my msn messenger and internet explorer wouldn't work/connect, deleted the programme, restarted and all was fine. I tried it again today to see if there was any options I could change to stop the same incident occuring, but once again it installed itself and whilst the internet connection itself was fine, the same problem occured. Removed the programme again this time, and it hasn't rectified the problem, internet connection itself is fine and strong as I've been playing Xbox live and I'm typing away now on my dad's side of the computer (seperate hardrive, choice of which hardrive to boot). Has anyone else experienced this, or has been in a similar situation to this? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks,
  5. Think about it once your Dob forks have had their time?
  6. 1) You can't judge how good a brake is by its sound (obviously an audiable honk is the usual good noise, but some people's brakes make no noise at all and are just as good). 2) If your using the same pads before you drilled the holes, what is there to bed in? also polyurethane pads are not affected by releasing agents in the same way that disc brake pads are, which is why disc brake pads need to be bed in.
  7. Loctite what? Super Glue, Epoxy, Specialty, Polyurethane, Aerosol, Rust, Threadlocker, Construction Adhesive? http://www.loctiteproducts.com/ All loctite or glue will do is bond the contact surfaces (which with a worn crank arm, will be less than a normal crank arm), therefore you have less contacting surfaces between crank and BB axle, the surfaces that glued will suffer from the most stress as the load is not as evenly distributed as it would be with properly fitted crank. That means.... PREMATURE CRANK/BB WEAR!
  8. Yep, need to keep an eye on a new set of cranks, as they will come loose when settling in (more susceptible to coming loose by the anti-clockwise gyroscopic action on the left crank arm when new). And once it comes loose, it will deform the shape of the shape of the spline due the free movement of the crank. Bodging is probably your only option without having to buy new cranks.
  9. Hell its two chances to see it, its like two entries. =D I hope I win, or I won't be able to survive this winter, (Echo pads suck).
  10. I believe is already importing them at £150. No doubt Trials-Uk will most likely have them soon. I do like the colour scheming, can really play with the contrasting colours. I think I've found my next frame. =D
  11. That is not an older version it is another frame produced by Neon called "Conquer". The current "Conquer" model comes in black or white, and the last model was gold or blue (like Chai's). The frame that looks like a Kamel is the new "Bow" frame for this year. I really want the bow, the geo sounds good and the full build itself is hot.
  12. There was a woman at our store who was estimated to have stolen £2000 worth of goods, including a premium bike, which she just took off display and walked out of the door with it.
  13. Well having started college there is a noticeable amount of new poonani, one however has already already found me and become a tad obsessive. Unlucky for me its the wrong kind, shes the scene type (good), but she is a real wannabe (bad). to be honest, its her hair that puts me off a lot, tis all greasy and bundled back, however she says she wants it died blue (oh great greasy blue), but styled like this: I hope that is enough to change my opinion.
  14. I was skeptic of this until I actually saw it happen. Guy I ride with from this region used to have a Monty Ti, dual disc, I got his bike and placed it in every position he could hit his rotor on a sidehop (160mm rotor). I found the only way achieveable was if neither wheel made it to the wall, and both wheels slid down the wall catching both rotors. Following that insight, I watched Reece trying to sidehop a 38" wall on his dob (echo hub), for his front wheel to land perfectly on top, but his rear wheel landing on the edge causing it to slip down hitting the rotor and taking a chunk out of the wall. I think this backs up the previous point that Reece made about the Ti hub.
  15. Yea I've got both. My dad has always been the PC player and hated it when it he tried it on xbox (I guess he is just old), but mainly I think he liked the mouse and keyboard, rather than having limited buttons, as he said he found the controller hard to use (aiming with one trigger shooting with the other, where on the pc its a click to aim and you don't have to hold it). From my personal experience, I find the Xbox bettter, as everyone has the same set-up so there is no unfair advantage of one person having a faster and more effective computer than you. With my PC set-up, the graphics on the computer version is much better than the xbox, much more defined, however I can easily say that the xbox is smoother (not running smoother, but when you turn around for example the frame rate is much better and therefore smoother). My preference is the Xbox.
  16. Just try more of the Nelson Bonjela, has a nice funny taste to it. =D
  17. Charles is a right beast, the size of the backwheels you can pull man really surprised me.
  18. I was on £4.60 P/H, thats the 16/17 year old wage, and then it goes up when your 18. A friend who I used to work with there said he was 18 when was only 17, dumb enough, Halfords took his word for it and paid him 18+ wage. As for the job, its good stuff, I really liked working with the customers in the Bikehut, and it did give me a better knowledge on other bikes. (Not taught however) I quit because I had some right jobsworths working in the downstairs, I wasn't allowed to use my holiday entitlement (and with good notice) because 2 people in the store had already booked that day off, so when I did the usual tactic of getting someone to cover me, I get paid as usual but then pay the person after they worked (and making sure the manager was aware of this). But then they got arsey with me doing that and didn't allow me to again, they also didn't give me a staff discount card yet giving them to part time cashier's who had been there for a shorter time than me. Pretty much, it was too much hassle to them for me to take off holiday, no discount card, and not respecting my outside activites and education.
  19. Okay Friday sounds good, and I'd prefer Clacton (would like to finish up with the skatepark like the old days ). Only problem with the Friday is commuters, but whatever we'll see what the people want...
  20. Well as I haven't riden at all in the past month, I thought I'd post up to get everyones arses in gear. So basically either Friday 26th, or Saturday 27th, somewhere in Essex (Clacton, Chelmsford, Colchester or wherever) Hopefully see some eager faces about.
  21. Try-All rage's. =D What is your riding experience like?, if you've only just started trials it may be worth saving your money a bit, and then buying the bars at a later stage (believe me it makes a massive difference once you are really confident and progressing in trials). Thats just my own personal opinion though.
  22. Stupid enough to not cut the clip down and sort the audio out?
  23. Yellows: Heatsink Heatwaves (Nice alliteration and firery braking power) Whites: Heatsink Pures (White a symbol of purity)
