  1. Ah good idea! It's going to be a poll, so the votes will show which is best.
  2. OK thanks for that, but the catagories arn't set yet, so please, don't nominate until we've decided on catagories! Anyone got any more ideas for catagories? I was thinking about instead of having one huge poll, doing one catagory per week?
  3. I solved it, I took the dust seal out and it doesn't stick now. Looks like the dust seal went hard when it came into contact with water! It's solid. My f**king emulsion fluid won't emulsify though, the oil keeps floating on top. But seeing as the lever piston now isn't sticking, I'm just going to use water and Pro-Cool.
  4. You'll hate it after about a week, pink rims get you extra attention you don't want. It looks like a barbie bike to me, I'd go for something more subtle. (White hubs + spokes, black rims).
  5. Again... Catagories first please! Best to get these done first so it doesn't fill the thread up too much.
  6. Sorting the catagories out first please guys. Also if you're going to nominate a video, can you give a link where it can be watched or downloaded? Preferably both. EDIT: Also remember, not looking for the best/biggest riding, it's for the best directed/edited video.
  7. Basically I thought it would be cool to nominate a load of videos and then I'll set up a poll and we can vote for the best one! First off we need to sort out catagories. Here is the list of ideas so far, nothing is decided yet: Best Chilled Out Atmosphere Best With A Metal Track Best TGS Best Stock Best Mod Best 24" Best Mixture Of Bikes Best Natty Best Classic Vid (2006 or older) Best Old School Vid (2002 or older) Best Koxx/Badger Days Vid Best Motivational Best Group Ride Video Best Video With No Music
  8. Thinnest disc I have is 4mm, and unfortunately the compound is really fine, like coarse sand. I want it to be more like grit. Time to go shopping me thinks.
  9. Do they do those insane looking things for a 5" grinder? Where can you get them online from?
  10. Back on topic, my aunty lives there and I've been thinking about going and staying and seeing what the ridings like. (If I'm right, it's not too far from Morcombe?). I'll get in touch if I ever get round to it. I think the guys from Tarty ride there occasionally?
  11. I'll go if Mat goes and my bikes in one piece. (Not likely at all though at this stage lol). EDIT: Wait no I won't, I'd have to set off back at like 2-3, so f**k that lol.

    Trials-uk

Where have you been the past 2 years? Thats just f**king asking for it, it's giving him too much to do! Last time I had to use him I emailed him to make sure that the tyre I wanted was in stock, then ordered it the moment he replied and it arrived the next day.
  13. In my experience, most people who ride both started with motorbike trials and got a biketrials bike second. I did, my mate did, my brother did, my other mate did and his uncle did. I don't know anyone who rode biketrials first! You got that totally backwards, it takes just as much skill, if not more to get over the same obstacles, and on a push bike you just get off and try again when you get stuck, with a motorbike, you can't get out of tricky situations easily at all.
  14. No that's how the hold works, if you have a booster it absorbs the vibrations, making the brake quieter and bite less. Not exactly sure why, but I think it's probably to do wit This one: http://www.bikedock.co.uk/posit/images/pro.../0000017859.jpg I wasn't doing, when it was on my Kot I filed the mounts down and ran it with no spacers, makes a bit of difference. to be honest the brake on my Kot was shite, it never held, I was going to get a 4 bolt booster but then I got my Simtra which has a built in booster, which is waiting for bits.
  15. You're almost too small to fit on a Mod! I'd get a mod if I were you, you'll probably find it much easier to ride.
  16. How did you sort the pitch out? Get an M5x1.0mm bolt? Sounds like it's worth a try, if it doesn't work you'll just have to put up with using M6.
  17. It's already tapped out to M6 though, what he's asking is if he can fit a helicoil to make it M5. You might be able to get a different kind of insert, I've never looked into it.
  18. You're wrong I'm afraid Ben. M6 threads use a 1mm pitch normally, whereas an M5 uses a 0.8mm pitch. Also a helicoil tap isn't 6mm wide anyway, think mines about 5.7mm.
  19. The only thing I can remember about that thing was that it was voiced by Zoe Wanamaker. My little brother used to watch that shite a lot when he used to live here.
  20. 3 second hand mono trial TI/Carbons on that budget!
  21. Errrm yes it does... You can file out the holes on most boosters anyway, I have an Echo 2-bolt one and it's great, works really well. I hate really stiff brakes and this seems just right for me.
  22. I just got some dunks from http://www.crookedtongues.com They were really good and the shoes only cost £45 inc postage lol.
