When I'm stripping the anodising off it'll be hard to get inside the box section in the centre to get all the anodising off, so if I single wall it you won't be able to see inside the rim, so I'll only have to strip the outside.

Yeh i was planning on leaving the boxing in, the only reason for me wanting to do it is I'm stripping my rims and it's be so much easier if it was single wall. I'd only have to do the outside and wouldn't have to get into the box section bit.

Hey, thinking of making my rear Atomz rim single wall. It's 47mm wide and the same as a rear stock koxx rim as far as I know. Will it be alright? I'm not much of a basher, but getting more that way all the time... (I ran a rear Rubber Queen with a Maxxis downhill lite tube, never pinched it in about 4 months). Also worried about the stiffness of the sidewalls, I use a maggy so would it be mushier at the lever? Also, how much would I save roughly?

No, TRA is a superhero. Leaps tall building in a single bound and all that, but on a trials bike.

Try-All. Fairly light and the best gripping front tyre around. (If you ask me).

Trialtech are about a million times better than Griffles, mine are far more comfy with bare hands and they grip your hands so much better in the rain/with sweaty hands.

I use the original TrialTechs, which I hear are much better than thew new ones with the logos. (Loads of people struggling to make them stick on the bar).
