  1. Because some people either don't know how, or can't afford to make it work better, or they're away on a big ride and just ride anyway, or they're trying to work out whats wrong with it.

    Mat Smith Video 2

Repeated clips Mat? Fag. Make a real video you pleb! Not these "forum reaction provoking" shitters... It started out like a thoroughbred TGS video, then decended into wankdom.
  3. Do you mean the lever blade bolt or the bar clamp bolt? I do this with the lever blade bolts: http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/wiki/How_To_...m_Coming_Undone. I've done method #1 on every maggy I've had for about 2 years, works great. Loctiting doesn't work I've found, it works for a while but always stops working after a few rides.
  4. Looks great so far Adam! Next time I see you I want to see you sidehopping over 50" consistantly.

    Danny Foster?

Lol, underoath is screamo music now? That videos older than that I swear, I remember seeing that just after I started I'm sure.
  6. Apart from the Try-All logo, it's identical to the Atomz. I'd get the Atomz, it might have plastic jockey wheels, but i've never heard a complaint against them.
  7. In that case f**k that, I'm just going to get some proper caustic soda. Mind you, if I can't I'll probably still do it, and if it all goes to shit I'll get Daddy to shot blast them and spray them white or black.
  8. From what I've heard, they're pretty f**king good.
  9. Or the frames too flexy, or the booster isn't beefy enough, or a wank bleed, or contaminated pads/grind, or the grinds gone too blunt...

    F1

Yeh I was watching, hope he's ok! Shall be watching tommorrow, should be interesting with Button starting so far back.
  11. Stick it on TrialsTube, facebook is gay...
  12. Not bad, but definately not "Absoulutly Awsome ! " Still, not bad at all, keep it up.
  13. Just get some wooden blocks and file a groove in each with a round file, then clamp the hose up in a vice, then hammer the barb in. I tend to put some fluid in the pipe and on the barb, tends to help it go in a bit easier.
  14. Not necessarily true. The bearings could have worn slightly, or the stem could have slipped on the steerer. The star nut can break and nothing would happen, it's only there to tension the headset, not take any load. And don't just tighten up the topcap bolt, that will damage the star nut. Undo the stem bolts so they're slack, then nip the topcap bolt up which should take up all the slack, then tighten the stem bolts up. I'd take the lever blade off first and see if the TPA has broken, if it has, replace it with a bolt. If it hasn't, replace it with a bolt anyway as the standard ones are shite. It may be that you've simply used up all of the movement in the TPA. If it isn't broken then wind it all the way in and set up the slaves again and set the pads closer to the rim. If the lever feels really mushy like there is air in the brake, then you rebleed it.
  15. I did search first but couldn't find anything, I'll see what we've got here, bound to have some oven cleaner, and if it doesn't I shall... ...do that. Cheers guys!
  16. Right i might try that stuf then, has anyone used it to strip an Atomz or Koxx rim? How well did it work?
  17. Hey, I'm going to strip the anodising off my rims. I want to keep them silver, so shot blasting is out out of the question really, I hear you can use caustic soda? But my Dad reckons you can get proper stuff anywhere any more. Any other stuff I can use? Also I can't use the bath, as Daddy would probably flay me if it turned orange, so what can I put them on safely without it staining the surface? Cheers!
  18. Haha me too Ben. "Great new's everyone, my bicycle just got stolen!" Haha, fuzzle. Never heard that one before!
  19. I'm going to have to say James Barton, truly inspiring in his old Simtra videos. Or Rich Pearsons Leeson Thumper stage was always a classic.
  20. Not really I'm afraid, he knows they're good because they've sold loads of them. In terms of what parts are best, apparantly Trialtech forks are leagues ahead of most other things. (Not counting the Trialtech based ones like Atomz and Viz).
  21. So's mine, but they've lasted for ages and they've got about 4mm left. Does your brake slip a lot? I've found that if it slips all the time then it can wear the pads down much faster.
  22. Just runs in the laquer, i've got them all over my forks. I think it's where water gets underneath the laquer and corrodes the aluminium slightly, looks nice.
  23. Obviously depends how harsh your grind is, the same as with all pads...
  24. If you factor in the time spent designing them and the machining and material costs they might be getting close. Still, they've lasted Danny for getting on 6 years or there abouts? Maybe 7? So looks like they were worth it.
  25. Looks great Dave! Is that one of the new TartyBikes stems?
