  1. Trialtech square holed front for lightness and pimpness. Echo for the rear for strength and the ability to hold a grind.
  2. Just wait to Krisboats gets in here with his epic case mod.
  3. Sorry, but UGLY!!!!! I'll be getting a TV tuner when Freeview finally comes round here, but in the meantime: Intel P4 2.4ghz HT. 1gb Ram. Nvidia 6200A GPU. 22" Lg Flatron. 120gb main drive, 80gb backup and a 500gb LAN drive connected to the router, so everyone can use it.
  4. I've never ridden an Ashton, but I've spoken to Krisboats about it before, and I changed a T-Pro to a Zona Zip, which was a lot stiffer, and put my brothers brake from his T-Lite onto my Kot, which is slightly stiffer. But yes, I'd love a go on your mates Ashton.

    Neon Bow

Looking good Nathan! What gear ratio is that? Looks very light, the rear sprocket looks almost as big as the freewheel!
  6. I've found that more flexible frames tend to be more bitey than stiffer ones, but you'll never get the pads set-up right straight away. Give it a fresh grind so it will wear the pads in quicker and wait for them to wear in.
  7. T-Pro, Zona Zip, 06 Echo Lite, 07 Echo Lite (long), 08 Echo Lite (long), Kot MS2.
  8. Strip and polish the back brake and that would look amazing, that's one of the only bikes I've seen with those rims I like, but they really suit it!
  9. Knock it out the bottom with a long piece of wood, then use the top cap and bolt to put it back in the fork.
  10. The rims once you've killed them, even I managed to go through one. That was the only rim I ever managed to dent, apart from my hog that I'd given about 20 grinds. Other than that it's up to you, just ride it and change stuff to get it more like what you want it to ride like.
  11. Pic. If you've got a maggy in there with a booster, surely theres a chance of it rubbing the chain? And it would be a b*****d to set up? I've never heard of anyone having issues with the brake pulling away from the frame, if you ask me it just makes things overly complicated.
  12. Whats a cob? They're called barm cakes or milk rolls up this end of derbyshire, depending on the size.

    I Lol'ed

It's just a couple of 12 year old kids playing about, lay off. Why post it anyway, it's not funny.
  14. Amazing vid Stan, I've watched it about 4 times already.
  15. I found linux to be really good, until I needed to install anything, like my graphics card drivers. There are about 5 different drivers out for Nvidia 6 series cards, and not one of them worked. On XP, all I had to do was download and install it.
  16. I don't think it really matters, I normally put the outer teeth on, then put the pawls in, then keep the springs compressed with a pair of pliers and slip them in by holding the pawl out of the way with a small screwdriver.
  17. Are you sure it was engaging the wrong way in the first place? The pawls and springs can only go in one way, and you should be able to figure out which way the outer teeth on from that.
  18. Sounds like you put the rachet ring race thingy on the wrong way, best get it open and find out!
  19. The Eno wasn't mentioned in the list above. I had a monty for a week or two while I was changing bikes, it was alright, didn't skip but it was really quiet and didn't feel as "strong" as my tensile, when you rolled the cranks forward to engage the freewheel when I was setting up for something, it was much harder to feel if it had engaged properly.
  20. http://tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?produc...;category_id=29 £14.68 but you need a topcap aswell: http://tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?produc...;category_id=57 b*****d mods, scaring the masses into doing their own research for them...
  21. Those dickheads who are mates of someone you vaguely know, like mates of my brothers mates, you keep asking to have a go on my bike when I stop to have a chat with my brothers mates. Anyone who comes up and tells you you're not supposed to be there, like whenever you're out mountain biking, and a bunch of ramblers tell you off for riding on footpaths. I know it's a footpath, I had to carry my bike over a stile to get onto it, but I'm going to continue doing it anyway.
  22. Get a Monty PR stem Kris, 150x25, so close enough to correct with some stem stacks.
  23. So did I, plus an age limit wouldn't work at all, the problem isn't the child buying the child's bike, it's them owning it and being tempted to take a bite... And it wouldn't solve the landfill thing either.
  24. Now that is weight saving gone mad. Looks really smart, I don't think I've seen one with a front vee before. In the first pic, the frame looks silver, in the second, it looks kinda grey?
