  1. Jesus, it must have been set up by someone in the trials community aswell, otherwise they'd struggle to get peoples email addresses!
  2. I'd get a Tensile if I were you, mine will be 2 years old in a few weeks and it's still going strong!

    Trials-uk

Yeh, I have to agree with that. If any normal member had caused this much shit then they'd be blacklisted by now.

Would trading standards be able to do anything about it? All I ever hear about TUK is how shit they are, and why on earth do these topics get closed! There should be one topic where everyone who has ever had a problem with him can complain. Why does anyone ever buy from him any more? I'm never giving him any of my money again, I'd rather get it from Tarty, even if some of the prices are slightly higher, at least you know they will arrive next working day and be correct 99% of the time.
  5. It's probably just one hard drive that's been partitioned so it acts as two seperate hard drives. CCleaner is brilliant, but it's registry cleaner isn't all that good. I use CCleaner alongside Eusing Free Registry Cleaner, they seem to catch all the shite. Once you've run CCleaner and Eusing Cleaner, you'd be best off running a defrag to get it all running smooth.
  6. It's a very wierd place to crack, if it had been down the the frame being bashed and dented it would have gone there. It could have just been a duff weld, when I rewelded my T-Pro a few times it cracked in the same way, following the weld round the tube. That hadn't been heat treated though. Hope it gets sorted anyway Jamie!
  7. No, your post count won't help get you validated at all, you'll get validated by using decent basic english and being helpful. One of the Mods has posted several times that he never validated anyone if they can't start a sentence with a captial letter and end it with a full stop. Using text language will stop you getting validated for a while. You'll struggle to get any bike for that much, second hand trials bikes that are complete and not completely knackered start at around £200-£250.

    New Server

When abouts will that be happening? Also, just an idea, could the auto PM thing that requests return feedback be changed? When I first recieved one I thought the PM was from whoever left the feedback for me, and made them seem a bit arsey. If it just said "AUTO PM: Whoever has left feedback for you, please return the favour.", then there wouldn't be any confusion. I didn't realise until I got the same message again that it was an automatic thing, and from what I heard a few people thought the same when they recieved them from me. Just an idea though, it's only a little thing.

Seems much faster, but the little feedback and video links in everyones area under the avatars have disapeared. You know when you click someones name on one of their posts and the drop-down menu appears, theres a link to feedback in there, could there also be one to peoples videos? Can we have a different coloured skin? It seems wierd you can buy trials rims in every colour visible to humans yet trials-forum only comes in one.
  10. Sorry we dissapeared guys, once we'd had lunch and got back to the quarry and mended Ryan's puncture we ended up going down the road to the big block to meet Cort, then we rode near where the old warehouses used to be and by the time we thought about going back up it was time to go home.
  11. The Echo Isis ones might not fit the Moe bb, because they vary in size with axle diameters. I'm pretty sure they do anyway.

    Hope Rotors?

Tried emailing hope? You used to be able to get them through CRC, but I don't think you can any more.
  13. Me and Ryan are coming, dunno what time we'll be there though, around 12ish i would have thought.
  14. I just put it on my phone, it's pretty mint.
  15. I'm pretty sure they're all the same or very similar geometry, just different designs.
  16. Normally if you just put a graphics card in and plug the moniter into that, it will use the card as default. EDIT: Jeff, download CPU-Z, run it and it tells you everything about the hardware you're running.

    Postman Pat

Postman Pat, Postman Pat, Postman Pat ran over his cat. Jess the cat was dying, Postman Pat was crying, Now he has red wheels to match his van.
  18. It doesn't matter how tall you are, my brothers about 5'6" and he rides my Kot really well. Looks really good Hannah, it'll be a good bike to learn on.
  19. If you buy a Tensile, strip it down and clean all the grease out first and just lube it with WD40, they are built with far too much grease from new and it sticks the pawls down. I had a Monty for about a month, they're not too bad, I just didn't like it because it didn't feel as solid as the Tensile. My mate has had two Try-Alls, neither managed to last longer than 6 weeks. Enos are great, but they need a close eye keeping on them because apparantly the grease oozes out of the sealed bearing over time which can stick the pawls down and make it start skipping. Personally I'd go with a Tensile every time, it cost me £35 2 years ago and I've stripped it down twice to relube it after really muddy comps, it does skip occasionally, but only when you don't let the pawls fully drop into the rachet.
  20. Get swimming Dave, it can really help with injuries because it excersises the joint but is much more gentle than running or cycling. It worked wonders with my Mum's back and my shoulder. (Obviously you ankle is a bit more damaged than that, but it might help, and has a lower risk of making things worse). It also works pretty much every muscle in your body. The best way to loose fat (apparantly), is interval training, so you'd do two legnths at a relatively normal speed, then do one legnth flat out, then repeat. It tricks the body into digging into its fat stores or something. I'm not sure how effective it is though because I've never done it.
  21. That would drop the bars aswell as bring them back. Your best off ringing TartyBikes up, they'll know which stems do what.
  22. It was secret and the nickname has stuck. We might be able to get there but I'm not sure yet.
  23. Attach the needle for a football pump to a track pump, insert it under the grip then squeeze the grip onto the needle hard to seal it and pull, then get someone to pump the pump hard. Usually comes off straight away.
  24. The Finland bit was a major let-down, I assumed he'd be entering a rally in a rally car, but no, he went banger racing. The Renault bit was quite funny, but how did they ever think it was going to work? They started with a front wheel drive car with a lot less power than the Evo.
