  1. It is also very tight in my Kot frame, if I pedal really hard the frame flexes over and rubs the tyre a bit.
  2. Don't do it! I saw a Zona with green rims once, it was disgusting! Keep the black rims, they look so much better on a Zona.
  3. It looks to me that the only thing left really is the front tyre, and possibly the BB. I don't know how much the Ko ones weigh but I think their stuff tends to be pretty strong/heavy.
  4. Yeh that's the sort of thing I was worried about, but it also stretches from what I can remember, so maybe not the best plan.
  5. Sellotape works fine, and doesn't cost as much as silk. I'd also imagine that silk rim tape would give other riders the wrong impression.
  6. I think a Nobby Nic is about 600g, if yours is 1200g at the moment then that's another 600g saved. You could also use sellotape for rim tape, foam grips, a KMC Z610 chain, Wellgo MG-1 pedals, it all adds up.
  7. Well that depends on the size of the potato and the amount of cheese used, but I normally have it as a snack.
  8. It's a bit like polishing a turd... Why not just have the chocolate on it's own? Jacket potato, washed, stabbed loads of times, in the microwave on a piece of kitchen roll for 2.5mins. Turn over and repeat, whilst it's getting ready grate a load of cheese. Put the potato on a plate, cut an X into it, open her up, mash up the inside a bit. Pile the cheese on top and return to the microwave for a further 2 mins.
  9. What tyres have you got? I saved 750g just changing mine.
  10. It doesn't save a lot, so it's not really worth doing unless the rest of the parts on your bike are already really light.
  11. Is the lightbox.js in the same folder as the web page?
  12. Use a lightbox? Yeh they're just about the best way of doing it. I don't know any javascript at all, I just downloaded the code from somewhere. http://www.huddletogether.com/projects/lightbox/ I've used that lightbox before, I don't know where to find one that unfolds like the one on Tarty though.
  13. I'm using a similar system on the site I'm working on now, you basically use a seperate javascript file, then set up each link so that it shows the layer you want to show and hides the others when clicked. Are you writing the code yourself or using a wysiwyg editor?
  14. Translated into English. EDIT: Which makes no sense.
  15. I've got a rear Continental Rubber Queen and a front Try-All. The Rubber Queens seem to fold and squirm a lot if you run low tyre pressures, but I like mine pretty hard so it's not a problem.
  16. The copies are terrible, the body smashes to pieces really easily, I had a set that lasted 2 weeks, then I got the real thing and they lasted 6 months, I only got rid because I bought a new bike.
  17. Why are that many engagement points needed? As soon as you've got about 60 per revolution of the cranks surely that's enough?
  18. When was that? I think the TrialTech or Try-All ones are the biggest, but you're best off ringing Tarty up or emailing them, they can compare all the different ones.
  19. If new cams don't give enough extra length, (although they should), you could try using allen bolt instead of the Monty pins, it only adds a couple of mm but it's sorted mine out before.
  20. No he doesn't, Callum knows he's never going to get validated, he's just being helpful! He's had the exact same problem as a full member and is just trying to help out, give him a break.
  21. Monty cams only give a small amount of adjustment, try some bigger cams like TrialTech ones.
  22. White you say? Not anodised orange? I love mine.
  23. 160mm Hope Mono Trial, you don't need anything more, you'll just catch it more easily.
  24. I'd go for the gusset, mainly because it's cheapest but it also has a wider base than the Surley. But if you want a 14t Surley sprocket I've got an almost unused one you can buy?

I wonder if maybe ferrari will contest Hamiltons hat when he got out of the car? It said Heikke on it. The Ferrari crew's reaction was brilliant, I havn't laughed so hard in ages.
