Why does money matter? It's literally numbers on paper. I know a lad who often treats me to stuff and never asks for anything, because he's fallen on his feet and is pretty well off. In the same situation, I'd spend a fair bit on my mates as well. He did pay for my lady and I to go on holiday with him, before you ask.

I'd just try to calmly explain your concerns to her, but make it clear that ultimately it's her decision and she mustn't let your (completely natural) protective feelings stop her from experiencing something that she's not going to experience by any other means.

Do you want to stop her going? I'd say let her seize the oppourtunity. Ultimately it doesn't matter if it's a trust issue or what, if she wants to go you should let her and be happy for her, because if she's going to play away or anything there's nothing you can do about it. It's 2013, nobody asks permission concerning women any more, as that's a sexist practice that can f**k right off IMO. to be honest I'd put money on him trying to dick her, but it doesn't really matter if he is. She'll either say no, in which case she's a decent lass, or she'll say yes, in which case he's doing you a favour. It's OK to not be happy about it though, I wouldn't be. Just make sure to pretend you are though IMO.

My brother put me on his insurance as a named rider a couple of weeks ago. Popped out this morning for a blast on one of my favourite roads, which runs next to a train line. Ended up racing and beating a train to the bridge where the road passes over the track. So awesome!

I know, I run 3 monitors in eyefinity. Crossfire doesn't work like that though, only the top cards outputs work, the other cards just act as extra GPUs. I've also run 5 monitors before by linking my graphics card to the on-board using ATI Surround. Still think he's trolling though. I'd gladly be proved wrong if he'd answer my earlier for a pic with TF open. :-P

Nope, it's dead as a dodo. A 200 error is (usually) terminal. Backup things, then backup the backup! Depending on what the problem is, you may be able to get another HDD from the same production batch as that one, swap some bits and get stuff off it, but that's a long shot that doesn't always work. How important are the thing that you lost?
