  1. The Keighley fun trial was a bit like that, Although instead of wet it was just masses and masses of mud! My bikes still not clean now!
  2. Thats cause they're getting piss poor wages and no ones listening to them, Not a fan of the ol striking though. At uni they're threatening to not mark work i'm in my third year about to finish and they wanna pull that, yay woo!
  3. Ditto, i've been with Vodafone for nearly 3 years now. Ace service, they're upgrades and rewards to customers are pretty good too Another bonus is that i'm never without signal, think vodafone has the most uk coverage. might not matter much in manc but it bloody well does in North Wales Meant i could ring my mum from the top of Snowdon
  4. I'm liking the sound of this, Hopefully the rest of North Wales lot will be up for it too
  5. its not too bad, if you break an axle king will replace it for free or sell you an hd one for half price. Oh and i've haven't broken any, only had it 4 months though
  6. Mines still pretty damn straight, took me fecking ages to true up without a stand, sheldon brown says start with the biggest buckle first the whole damn thing was a big buckle! It's fine now though the odd tweak of a nipple here and there and its all groovy.
  7. How about just going to your rents and saying " look i'm out of money and have to pay this off, yadayadayada. can i borrow ££££ so i can get rid of the interest gathering debts and then pay you back?"
  8. Ebay is your friend, sell anything and everything that isn't bolted down. Oh and don't forget the obligatory excessive postage charges
  9. Definately has an effect i think, i used to have an avid as a rear brake (on a stock) and it used to slip a lot, i like my maggie much more Although on a disc specific frame such as richs leeson or a Kot i think it might be less of an issue as the mounts are designed strictly for trials.
  10. I think i get what you mean, A disk brake will work better on a smaller wheel becuase there's less force being applied to it. Also shorter spokes mean that theres less wobble in the brake.
  11. How long have you had the cassette on for? It might have dug into the freehub a little bit. try twisting it a bit to try and free it up and if that doesn't work then a few taps with a hammer might sort it.
  12. They feel weird when you first get on them, they're shorter than a monty mod and have longer stays. If you want a streety mod then this is the frame for you. They're very flickable and ace for bunnyhops, oh and you also want to be below 6ft i think, might be a wee bit cramped
  13. He'll only lose his no claims if its on the same policy as the dude above surely, Oh and you can gain no claims experience which some insurance companies take into account.
  14. A no claims can only be used on one policy, so although you're dad can insure another car + you he can't use his no claims again.
  15. Tis true, my highest was 3rd in a championship, took me a fair while to get to that Would love to get back into it but my baby is probably ancient now, despite the many hundreds i spent on it
  16. Just can't win really, i personaly like most don't mind the advertising as thats what a good part of this forum is about, especially with all these new shop sponsered riders vids etc. The only thing that really gets me is blatent plugs and extreme bias. Viz and the pro2 being unfortunately good examples of this. Ah well thats my 2p. Best of luck to IOLO, can see him being the next Leeson sometime soon
  17. Whole new product line for tartybikes *cough* blue zoo stickers*cough* Bike looks great Stan
  18. 21 turn is for sissies, try 12 or 11 I wish i had some pics of my car buts its at home and i'm at uni
  19. Don't ever buy another tamiya hop up part Next motor buy reedy or trinity. far far more powerful for probably less money
  20. Hmmmm, i need to ride more, fall off less and actually do something worthy of videoage other than yell at Alex
  21. I wouldn't bother trying to upgrade the engine as its doubtful it'll do much, concentrate on the rest of the car such as saving weight, faster steering servo, better shocks and maybe ballrace it if it isn't already. edit: just read you're post properly I seem to remember there are a hell of a lot of ally parts for t-maxxs least there was a few years back when i was still racing. Not to sure on nitro stuff as i used to race electric. check out www.dms-racing.co.uk (hope thats still the addy)
  22. Wash you're mouth out with soap! Honestly the youth of today
  23. It's a great feeling isn't it
  24. I'd just whack a normal tensioner on, then if the chain stretchs (which it more than likely will) you can go back to singlespeed.
  25. Yeah it becomes a vicious circle after that, You will get fined for being over your limit, fined if a direct debit bounces (by the direct debit people) and then have to pay the original direct debit Very very hard to get back on top of things. Glad iv'e never been over mine.
