There are some ''designer'' guitars out there, with £20k necks, which are made from Carbon, Gold, Silver and Diamonds etc. THEY'RE the most expensive necks. You can pick up a USA Parker for about £500 in the current economical climate.

100% yes. They do some of the thinnest fastest necks on market. Graphite for the win!

£10 one does really well, got all the basic functions. Could paint it with model paint too, any color I like.

The only thing it won't work on is the ticket barriers. The guards won't be able to check if it's been used on board a train, and generally they just check the date & destination. As said before though, make sure you have enough cash on you, revenue guys can be brutal at times..

The joke part of it is, if you want to be fat, and not get the chicks, be the bassist. In all seriousness. Being a bassist myself as well as a guitarist, I can see it from both sides. The fact of the feeling you get from syncing in with the bass drum is really nice. Feeling the line you're laying down, vs. just hearing. That's the same reason people usually like D&B etc - they can feel the bass..

The pods aren't specifically FX Pedals as full onboard systems. You can, though, upload loads of different sounds and effects onto then, technically giving you unlimited capabilities. Look at some of the Bose pedals. £70 ones, some of them are great fun, and have some pretty cool sounds to go with them.
