  1. I ran an 8" BB7 on the back of my stock (vario styx) for a while and it was ok until i kept buckling discs. every time i replaced the disc I had to let the whole thing be in again and the brake was utter shite for a ride or 2.
  2. Why has this chit-chat gem been allowed to become a relic?
  3. I haven't read the whole thread so this may have been answered, but is there going to be a hope freewheel too? that would be freakin' sweet.
  4. you could nail yourself to a crucifix and go as christ?
  5. How does one dress as a fine white powder?
  6. I just watched the whole series back to back on 4od, and now i regret making the effort. Pretty much tripe.
  7. with a 68mm bottom bracket, you can get away with running a 118mm bottom bracket with muscleman cranks and a tensile freewheel with no bashring and have a good few mm clearence. abviously, with a 73mm shell, you're going to want an axle around 10mm longer. edit: I have some 175mm tensiles you can buy for £35 plus postage?
  8. What was it? Was it in the state you bought it and still in it's original packaging etc?
  9. Really? What problems did you have with them? I've always found them to be reliable and helpful.
  10. They didnt have them in stock a couple of weeks ago when i tried... And CRC really aren't crap, they have monopolised the online bike market slightly, but theyre service is pretty good (always been next day for me) and you can't argue with free postage. No need to thank me, by the way.
  11. the one of chain reaction that cost £3.99 for a 1 inch steerer. It's made by M:PART
  12. Not even slightly possible.
  13. theres a much better quality version on his website. this is old...
  14. Has he been using water to lubricate his hub?
  15. I think it might, just possibly, be sarcasm?
  16. maintenance on solar panels if huge, especuially on something that big. It wouldn't be anywhere close to 100% efficient and the lifespan of solar panels is only a few years. my dad works with solar energy for bosch, he's always talking about them
  17. Park in southsea, plenty of spaces there and you're within 5 minutes of all the popular riding spots, which I'm aware of.
  18. Those pads look haggered! What are they?
  19. I get my bike on the 1st, so if I can get my new frame built up, I'll be out for sure.
  20. I always consider colour to be far more important than the specification of a bike, and the way it all performs.
