  2. that was pretty awesome, how does he make all the different ni=oises in his mouth at once? i dont get that we have a guy whos awesome at beatboxing in ipswich called pikey tom /pikey esquire. he can do all that stuff and its amazing! ps probably BOTI?
  3. yep, it is a protec, but apparently ben travis says theyre illegal over here or something, i presume that means they dont meet saftey standards
  4. Thank you for the advice, I think i might take a trip down to the engineers near where i live and see what they say. If they reckon it will be ok i might get them to help me with it and possibly get some prototypes made in the next few weeks I'm sure they'll be able to help with the heat treating and everything too. erm, i'll try and get it sorted out in the next couple of weeks and i guess if it all goes to plan then i should have a dozen or so rotors for testing the current design is for a 160mm, so if it works this size i'll scale up the design to 180mm and 203mm i guess cheers guys
  5. dont know why but that made me smile sorry, its probsbly inapropriate and it's definitely not helpful. Ho[e your back feels better soon
  6. i never said all deng stuff was cheese, read what i said! i said they have shite bearings in there moving components. I had a 3 year old echo pure too only sold it a couple of weeks ago, so there you go
  7. stainless, got to do a bit more research into material but im guessing high gade stainless is what i want to go for? hmmm...or would it be worth trying titanium? would titanium be strong enough/ have suitable properties for a trials rotor?
  8. theyre called 'terror pins' i believe and they should fit the majority of pedals with replacable pins
  9. right, so basically i want to try designing and making my own disc rotors, possibly to try and market if prototyping if succesful. just knocked up a quick design idea... so, any suggestions/improvements before i actually make make a prototype? and if i test out a proto and feel its reasonably safe anyone else fancy doing some product testing for me in the not-too-distant future? nothing special about the design really i guess, just want to make them pretty pimpin' and i guess i could sort out some customization if it all goes ahead.... so yeah, comments really?
  10. im probably being ignorant, but can any one tell me alittle more about the inspired? it looks like a really fun bike
  11. real hydraulics are capable of slowing a bike down no, only kidding: so1es are kindof a budget brake that are produced to go on bikes so they can be cheaply specced to have hydraulic discs without too much cosideration for performance
  12. ooooh...you're not allowed to say deng stuff's made from cheese anymore or you'll get quackers on your back
  13. this is the new avid i was talking about. costs a bit but no more than the mono trials. its called the code
  14. agree completely with ash. i'd suggest maybe the hope mono mini or maybe M4 if you want a bit more power. theres also that new avid freeride brake which is apparently pretty nice. might be worth checking out
  15. why does he want to buy a cracked bike deathwish?!? back on topic: you dont weugh anything and you're pretty smooth so keep riding with it unless its showing signs of getting worse.
  16. nope, magura forks have 4 bolt mounts i believe and if not you can get a frame with vee mounts and use the magura EVO mounts which mean you can use an HS33 with vee stumps
