i agree with JIX, i prefer one wheel. i cant get the power from two wheels. and i always land further back from when i started. which i dont feel is a good thing. I prefer to land on front wheel as an anchor then bring back up my 2p
-

i was told yesterday, bu the Glen Nevis campsite, they will have lots of spaces, they have 400 to start with, some have been booked, but just to turn up and see, im not fussed apparantly a lot of people just camp out whereever anyway, with no problems which in turn is FREE...... ben

i very much agree with this scottish monkey, however the choice is a difficult one, unless you have both bikes with the exact same setup as this is what makes each ride different, but out of the 05 pitbull and toxsin, i prefer the toxsin, i still think the pitbull feels slugish on back wheel, although it could be down to watson having a shitty hope hub on his rear wheel. who knows? just buy one and see what u think :P ben
-
stan, never knew how good you were, smooth and controlled, very very impressed, u manage to make the toxsin look small though, how tall are you? Good editing as well adam, i think adam edited it, its his voice behind camera, apologies if it weren't im away to ride rocks. ben

fort bill, is the best DH course in the country/uk/britian, hence why the DH world cup is here, the trials is half decent as well. Its not that remote, you have to realise, its good for everyone, we up in scotland are in minimal numbers in comparison to in england, so hopefully its finally a comp i can come to. i live in aberdeen so the nearest normal comp is yorkshire tykes which is 7-8hrs drive for me. get your arse's here. i want to enter pro, but i feel i aint good enough, i reckon in a "normal" comp i would enter expert, so what would people reccomend on this. I dont want to be totally annihilated by the other riders, just because i have entered a level too hard for me. i hardly use bash if i can get away with it. So uci is more my style, any reccomendations ben
-
hey wayne, cheers for the comments, erm i live in aberdeen (north scotland) so bradford is unlikely, hopefully when im don toward there again (to see family etc) i will hook up with you for some street/natural riding. i will be at the fort william comp if u come as well riding pro me thinks (Y) not sure yet cheers ben

Do we need to be a member of the acu to enter this competition, it asks for an ACU membership number on the form, but i havent got a member ship with these guys...... so if i do need this membership, how would i go about getting it (a link to a .pdf file would be great) cheers ben
-
cheers for the compliments guys, much appreciated, hopefully the next video will be bigger and better. we will see. cheers ben

yer it should do, its basically the same as a normal headset but has the bearings inside the frame instead of outside the same as your standard headset. an internal headset is one where the bearings are placed derectly on a notch on the frame with a cap over the top. this leads to many problems, where as integrated headsets are a decent enough idea, but a standard headset is ideal. go to this link - here it will download a .pdf file which explains all to you. or you can read it online - here cheers ben

ben, just pull your finger out.... dont let a depressing few rides let you think about quitting trials, for starters you will miss it and will just start up again but not as good as before. Your a good rider, i know your not huge/tall and this doesnt help for riding stock (IMO) and you seem very comfortable on the mod. Your 'figures' look half decent, and like ali said i wasnt nearly half that good after twice that length of time. Its not all about progression, although that helps, its about having a laugh. Dont let riding get you down, i had this problem with towler (one of me mates) today, he wasnt happy he couldnt sidehop a 38" inch wall today, so he got grumpy, it was the second time so i decided that id had enough, i pushed him, made him try new stuff, rode some rocks, mixed it up a little and he puched harder. Went to another wall 39"-40" and he made it 2-3 times. he enjoyed the rest of his day and hopefully he will carry on this way. just carry on, ride mod, and have fun ben

hey guys, cheers for all the compliments, yer i noticed the guy filming toward the end was a bit shakey handed. Also im not one for loads of fancy editing, i kind of like there to be simple transitions and more about the riding then a superbly amazingly edited video. Glad your all enjoying the video, much appreciated. Watson ill still be up for monday, probably going to drive, although having to check train times tonight (with forth bridge closed) and bing diverted via perth. Cheers guys ben more comments welcome
