  1. I started to write quite a comprehensive reply, but I deleted it all. In short, I don't know. Not knowing much about Megans, or Renaults for that fact, I'm guessing the speed will be read off the final drive in the gearbox somewhere, I'm also guessing that it won't be read by cable, so the fault would definately be electrical. Possibly a loose connection, interference (most unlikely) or just a buggered speedo unit. Next time you pass a dealership, ask a mechanic there, but don't get them to "look" at it. That will cost.
  2. My Magura died totaly last night, all three pistons seized when I was bleeding it, so I'm using my old front Raceline on it now. Also serviced the King and is now running sweet as a nut. Went for a quick hop around, I've still got the skills (understatement) but I have NO stamina.
  3. There's a place near me that can do it, but it was pretty expensive to get our garden chairs/table done Carplan rattle cans I've had better results than expensive Halfords paint.
  4. Sanding will actually take, forever. In halls at uni? Got a communal bath tub/sink? There you go I stripped my old 'burn bash ring with the stuff ages ago. Watch out for your fingers though, if you rub your fingers together when your using it and they feel "soapy", that's actually your skin acid eroding.
  5. Lol. Depends how cold it gets where you are, I've never had a problem with just water but I'm quite southern where it's generally a bit warmer than further up country.
  6. I've got nothing bad to say about it! I'm interested in both photography and a little bit of web design, and I like it There's a company near where I live that offers a similar service, but with moving pictures... http://www.highmastvideo.com/ He makes megga bucks, I know, and his site is quite possibly the worst I've ever seen. Sweet
  7. So if it does creep to the race, will CK give me a freebee?
  8. It might not look it, but it rides awesome +65mm bb but only 900mm length, it's incredibly flicky and suprisingly very very easy to control on the backwheel! I should really take it out on a ride sometime! </blow own whistle>
  9. Has this happened to anyone else? I can't see it being a major problem though
  10. That's pretty rad lol! I made this;
  11. Bloody hell mate what a night. I'm a first aider also, you never think your going to need to use what you learnt and you wish that you won't have to. That's quite a lot of responsibilty you took apon yourself that night, all I can say is big respect mate. You did EVERYTHING you could, just try forget about it, go for a ride!
  12. I used to be a member of the magic circle. I can actually do that, with a 50p though. I'll see if I can find my old stuff and video blog it
  13. This sounds too familiar! I spend a fair bit, in freshers week I spent over 900 quid. In a week! I've calmed down a bit now though, you just have to do everything cheap, buy cheap food from Tescos etc. The direct debits (car ins, phone, gym) will be what will make it seem worse too. Maybe go to a pay as you go? How much do you pay for your halls? I'm £94 a week, so just over £400 a month. That usually makes me feel ill when I see that drop out the bank! I need another job too, the one I have at the moment is sort of seasonal (selling caravan spares) so I do harldy any hours now and litteraly get 150 pound a month for that Also, go home Get a nice meal off mum and steal some food. Every little helps!
  14. If it didn't work by saving it as an older file then the only way round will be to save the image files seperately, then put them all back in when you've opened it back up on the other pc. Or just "print screen" and save all the slides as images then print them out. Will take a while though.
  15. Can I just go to Hook Woods anyday and go for a ride? Where is it exactly? Can I get there from Guildford without a car? Anyone fancy coming with me?
  16. I used Monty foams for a little while a few years ago. They were ok and a nice change from having thick grips, but they ended up hurting my hands a little from having to wrap a lot of finger around the bar. Having said that, I'd buy they again for a change. I've been using using Ritchey WCS Foam Truegrips for a couple of years now and nothing beats them
  17. Yeah they are Ashtons in disguise, actually I bought them branded as B4T superlites I think for about 60 quid! They are ok, I just don't know if I trust them they are damn flexy, but I guess they will do. Maybe I'll splash out on a new mag and some more pads. The best pads I've ever had were Plaz CRMs, although I've got red Bloxx in there now and they are pretty damn good too. Actually can you even get hold of CRMs any more?
  18. Quick little spec; Juicy front brake Rear King on a ronnie Hope on a sun Zoo bars Echo stem Burns Etc. You can see the rest. I'm thinking about a new set of forks, idealy zoo urbans are they? The black anodised ones, and a new magura as I've had this one since early 2003 and it's almost given up, and maybe some new pedals, probably a set of cages. Also maybe a new front tyre, I've had this Hot s for about 2.5 years What do you think? I've been out of the game for a while, whats cool these days?
  19. I might be up for this if the trains are working. However, I might be a bit late, can I have someones number to give u a ring when I'm there to find you rather than riding to every spot!
  20. I seem to remember this happening to someone else a few years ago on here.
