I dont know if you can quite call that riding lol... About edinburgh, there are quite a few places. If you know where Bristo Sq. is you can usually find people there most weekends. There are a few other places like outside the parliament, Festival Sq, and outside the Sheraton. I have just started so im not in Edinburgh that much (because im not good enough lol) but im sure the regualrs will be able to tell you more than me. If you do go riding send me a pm i would love to come up with a group of experienced riders. Rojo

Same with me, however i spin clockwise (looking from above) but i think it is all to do with things you did when you were younger and then you sub-soncisouly carry it on. For example when i was much younger i used to skate (rollerskates) and i always spun clockwise. If i was just rolling on my skates my left foot was always slightly further ahead of my left (felt more balanced) All this cross arms, draw sixes touch your nose lick your elbow stuff if funny and interesting but i dont believe there is a connection (i would love there to be one, but i dont see it) It is interesting to see the patterns though.

Eh... I roll left foot forward, sidehop to the left with my left foot forward (trying to do it right with left forward) I kick with my left and i spin to my right, weird indeed when i think about it.... hmmm.... interesting. I have never actually thought about that... Rojo

No, i understand what you mean. I think what i was trying to say was... What if something was to happen? For example me to fall off and break a bone. Would the school be liable (not for me to be able to claim compensation) just in terms of the council etc. It sounds like a bit of a silly question now but it was after a discussion with my dad as he seemed to think that they would have a problem with it because of liability issues. Haha, some of these games are really good fun! TF should get an arcade section, that way all the 'good' games are in one place and we could see who has high scores in what game etc. I cannot take the credit for this idea, it is on another forum i use. Fantastic! That is good to have some evidence to back up my case. Thanks alot for that one. I do not intend to take anyone to court, even if i do nearly die. Primarily because i have to go to the school and i cannot imagine the head master would be very impressed! lol. Rumplestiltskin im riding in Balerno High School, just outside Edinburgh. I intend to come up more often when it is warmer and lighter (and when my exams are out of the way), i have only been riding for about a month so i want to get the basics sorted before i make a fool of myself! But if there are any rides or plans in the future i would love to be made aware of them! Thanks again, Rojo Yeah you are correct about the 'right to roam' act i think. The school is definately the best place to ride in my village. I am not particularly worried about getting prosecuted because i am well known in the school as are my parents (my mum is a teacher there lol) I just wanted to know where i stood in terms of things. Okay, quick background... Today while riding around the school i attend (on walls etc.) i found some pallets and set them up in the school grounds. This area is not used outside school hours and is flood lit. I found a couple of pallets in the school grounds and 'aquired' a few more around where i live. I am currently storing the pallets inside the school grounds behind an out building. The school is not near any houses / people and therefore i dont think noise is an issue. The question really is who has liability in terms of if i fall and ingure myself, is it the school or is it me? And also am i trespassing? Considering the fact that the school is a community high school and is used by lots of other people outside school hours. I suspect that it is the school which is not good news... I also have a feeling that i am indeed trespassing. Any help is greatly appreciated! Oh Merry Christmas everyone! Hope you have a good one! Rojo

Haha, nice one the reason is stated at the start of the post! but it was just because it was the obvious way for me to progress from mountain biking and when i was younger i used to watch some older guys and simply loved it and was determined to get involved since then... Rojo

Hey, First of all i will tell you that i started trials biking simply as a porgression from my mountain biking and because when i was much younger i used to watch some guys and always wanted to try it! My main point was actually if it is not coursework style why not do it on something much easier and boring such as footbal / rugby / hockey as you will find it much easier to come up with reasons and therefore recieve the marks (and lets be honest thats what it is all for). What i was thinking was you have to remember whoever is marking it doesnt give a dam about what they are reading and simply want to give you the marks and unless done well (not saying that you cant) it will be harder to award marks! All of what i said is my opinion gathered from studying pe and standard grade and higher however if you do not agree then simply ignore me Hope that helps! lol Rojo

Well firstly if you click in the location in your profile (in your case it says chesire) it will show all the riders that have declared the same location as you. Try asking some of the about locations etc. Alternatively look in the rides topics and look for rides near you and head along to them, i think that is your best bet! Good luck. Rojo
