    Modified Cars

I reckon it is worth it.... BUT only if you can: a) afford to do it properly AND b ) have the time to do it properly There is no point in doing it on a ridiculously small budget unless you really know what you are doing (i.e work for a bodyshop / garage etc.) Likewise there is no point in spunking money all over it if you havent spent any time thinking about what you actually want or what you think will actually look good / work well. I know someone who spent thousands and thousands on his MR2 and has ended up with bits and pieces done, it now looks half finished and patchy but there is nothing more that can be done without spending thousands more. If he thought about it he could have done it much differently and for the same money come out with a much nicer looking car... Although, i could also quite happily take all that back and say its your money, your car, do whatever the fook makes you happy.... So really, that was no use to anyone... but good luck!
  2. Anyone that missed the last episode on Sunday, the repeat is on BBC2 now. Such a good episode, just hope they can keep this up for the rest of the series!

  4. Just a word of advice (courtesy of the Scotsman and the "Royal Society for Prevention of Accidents") This did make me chuckle: WORDS OF WARNING . . SUCH extreme cycling should not be undertaken lightly, according to the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents. Anyone considering following in Danny MacAskill's bike tracks should think about the following: • Consider whether you have permission to ride on the grounds you are biking on. Do not trespass • Look for local clubs that may offer you the opportunity to train safely in a controlled area. BTW CAN ANYONE NAME ONE NEAR YOU? • Personal protective gear is a must. Never cycle without a helmet. • Buy a specialised bike. A regular bike is not appropriate. • Practice is fundamental. Start from low heights with simple tricks. Don't run before you can walk. Still in awe of this Danny, i had stopped riding up until now but last night i went for a ride for the first time in about 6 months... Truly inspirational!

  8. http://anonymous10001.mybrute.com I don't get it at all but i continue to play.
  9. Oh deary! I felt sick watching that! That spill over the bridge looked horrendous! Awesome riding though... and nice touch burying the bike
  10. It quite simple, the pope has the answer! Safe Sex! Same as BOTI...
  11. I have a brown sauce sandwich! YUM! I just hope that wasn't some kind of continue the cereal game.... ohoh
  12. Law at Aberdeen or Buiness and Law at Edinburgh! soooo excited, just hope i get the grades i need!
  13. Haha, I have a day off work so i am quite probably up for it but without the trusty steed unless i can get some practice in before then. I haven't been on the bike in ages and even before my absence i was crap. If you are heading to the transgression i can probably be one of the skaters you bully, i will bring my skates! This sounds like a laugh!
  14. I reckon if you look at the special as comedy instead of a traditional episode of Top Gear then it was awesome! This may have already been posted but i haven't seen it and thought it was hilarious! (if it is actually true ) Some clever (boring) people have decoded the morse code that the stig has playing while he is testing cars and the results are fantastic: "Strictly come dancing is crap" "I love cheese" "That pork tasted funny" They can all be found here Linky!
  15. It just a shame Tam cant spell. What he really meant to say was the Sheraton just off Lothian Road. There are a few spots in and around the city centre but glasgow is much more popular and apparantaly has more to ride and is only 45 minutes away by train. Keep an eye out in the rides / locations forum and head along to one of the rides being arranged, that is the best way to find out the where to ride.
  16. Rite, here we go. Firstly no we will not, if we do it will be seriously dramatic though!!!!! If you really are interested all the information you need will be here: http://public.web.cern.ch/Public/Welcome.html This is the institution that will be swallowing us up tomorrow! (joke)
  17. Hey dude, there are some places to ride in Edinburgh. There is an organised ride coming up in August and that will be a great place to find out all of the spots: http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....howtopic=121670 If you click the Edinburgh link under your name it will show all of the riders in Edinburgh. I am from just outside Edinburgh but i dont ride in the city very much so i am sure someone who rides regularly will be better to meet up with.

    Top Gear

Rite, well, i guess that was just the paramedic service!!!! lol. I was quite annoied how short the feature on the GTR was, i thought they had finally got round to doing some full length features like 'back in the day'. Awesome episode though, i have liked this series so far but i really really really want some more features on cars not just the scripted comedy shizzle. But i want one of those Mercedes! It looked so mean!
  19. Hey guys, i will definately be up for the Edinburgh section of you plan and i have a few other guys near me that will be interested. I wont be able to make the Glasgow part, not just now anyway... However i am really not that good a rider and havent been out on the bike in ages so i might just come spectate and get to know people finally. Awesome plan though! Cheers
  20. Im going! (: I am really looking forward to it, the line-up doesnt look as good as last year but i think it should still be awesome! There were a few disappointments: no Devildriver or Meshuggah and some of the rumours had be more excited than christmas but no Tamness from the forum is also going with me, i am flying out on Wednesday 11th and i cannot wait!!!
  21. Im not too sure about Fife but i know there are lots of riders in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen. Keep an eye out on the rides / locations threads. If you find someone from there click underneath their name and you will find everyone else who has registered living there. Good luck!!!!
  22. Be careful, if this is seen i am pretty sure the topic would be locked. Your best bet is probably to get an e-mail address and do it that way! I dont really have any other advice, what has been given by Spartan sounds pretty much what i would have thought.
  23. Hey, yeah i have seen them before, I saw them at Murrayfield during the Edinburgh fringe, they were REALLY good, had such a laugh. I guarentee you will have a good time if you like their music but I cant help you with the place nearby but i am sure someone else will let you know.
  24. Thanks for that, well i will be there then! Nah i can do clambering, sounds really good.
  25. I assume anyone can come up and watch? Whats the deal with entry? or does anyone have a website with details? I will absolutely be trying to get up there, my exams will be over aswell Sounds really good!
