  5. Yeah, im going to do that when I get some moneys!
  6. I am using cams as a spacer otherwise the bolts kept coming loose. Shame you can't actually use cams on a zona Had to cut a bit off so it sat evenly and flat on the crank
  7. Here's my lovely zona. Shes basically finished now apart from the wheelset as i'm going to leave the forks as they go with the new cranks . Spec: Zona Zip Echo lites Echo tr freewheel and trialtech 175mm cranks (thanks to Stan Shaw!) with bodged zoo bashring DMR v8's Viz pro 720's Trialtech stem Trialtech foams Front 160mm avid bb7 with sd7 lever Rear Magura HS33 with green czar clamps and TNN LGM pads Front echo rim and zoo disc hub Rear zhi rim and hub Trialtech isis bb KMC chain Mpart sport headset
  8. Also tyre clearance is going to be shagged now as it will more than likely rub on the booster.
  9. That czar is really nice mate. Makes a difference to black, white or silver these days
  10. I didn't have a file either otherwise I would of just filed it a bit lol. Ah looks okay and it isnt sharp because I sanded it a bit
  11. Spot on. And I didn't have anything to cut it with. So I drilled it then used a chisel to get in-between the holes. I tried using a jigsaw but I only had wood blades and they didn't even scratch it!
  12. I have an Echo tr and that is a sound as. Probably the best freewheel I've used. But then again I also have a tensile 60 which has never skipped and is about a year old and has never been serviced. I'd say get an echo tr they are cheaper and I can't fault them at all.
  13. Dam where's the wiki when you need it? Anyway pull the piston out using mole grips or pliers etc. then lube the piston and seals with gt85 or similar WD40 will work but it is a water displacer.

  17. I drew a pic because I couldn't explain lol 1. was how it was. 2.now its straight. And I didnt do both sides because it wasn't to save weight, it was just so it fitted
  18. Hey, Basically my bashing had a lip that was too big so it wouldn't go on the crank straight (if that makes any sense?). So at first I tried sanding it as I didn't have a file, that done sod all. So I whacked out the drill and drilled in lines then cut. It turned out okay just looks rather messy So here it is As you can see I went the wrong way thats why the zoo bit is drilled!
  19. Looks nice but put a bit of colour on, maybe red rims nick
