I think your fine, Im 6ft 2 and i've just bought a bigger/higher stem and it feels fine. Also your pretty good for about 2 months! I think all you need is better control on the back wheel then you'll be fine. But honestly you look fine and I would stick with mod for longer IMO. As said by Ali C use clear laquer, I only put the smallest amount on and mine have sticked fine

When I sprayed mine all I done was take my time, I was on school holidays so what I would do was Prime the frame one day then let it dry over night and then sand the next day. Prime again fully and leave overnight Do another coat is its a bit dodgy. Do a thin layer of paint and leave overnight Add layers every couple of hours and build it up gradually Leave final coat for a day Then laquer a few times with MANY layers. Then you should get a sweet finish! It may take a while but it will be worth it!
