  1. No difference at all, just colour.
  2. Attempting to fix a welded slightly on the piss disc mount tomorrow, steel forks, any suggestions?

    1. WIGAN ??

Grinder is a good idea actually, I only really thought of bending it

    3. WIGAN ??

      WIGAN ??

yeah just take a little off wherever its pissed and add a little washer on the other side to make up the space

  3. Just to offer a different opinion, me and loads of other people have Marino frames and are more than happy with them. Correct, they aren't as good as Leeson's or Curtis's, but they cost £500 whereas a Marino cost £90, and for that price they are just lovely.
  4. I couldn't have asked for a better response than that.
  5. At least these experiments should kill off some of our less intelligent members.
  6. But TRA, Gilles or Damon can't do flairs off a tree, therefore Macaskill is better.
  7. 3 minutes until the actual riding comes in, come on guys, cut that shit out.
  8. New Identiti Tuning forks mean that my 24" is finally exactly how I want it, pics soon.

  9. snapped a pair of Curtis forks today, anyone fancy donating me some?

  10. Plus 04 lever blades are infinitely more comfortable and in my opinion, I prefer the looks and hose routing on them. The lever blade in the original post is a proper old one (and they were probably the least comfy of all the Magura lever blades), they changed to a more rounded blade with a hollow bottom at some point. Get one of those and you're good to go.
  11. I was pretty surprised myself, he didn't weigh much mind you.
  12. Faggoting is embroidery in which threads are fastened together in bundles : a black silk dress with tiers of faggoting.
  13. DMR Revolver hubs used to have a thread on disc mount, and my mate used one on the rear and the mount would unscrew, however, he stuck a load of loc-tite/araldite/super glue/whatever on the threads and it was perfectly fine after that.
  14. Get on your bike, then adjust the angle until they follow a line down from your arms, works the best for me. Feels the most natural then, they sit in the same place your finger extends to, no reaching higher and no reaching lower.
  15. Gearing is still a massive difference.
  16. Yeah, 2nd generation of T-Mags and T-Masters didn't have seats, Monty X-Lites were earlier than those and seatless though. Those lovely things where the chain rattled horrendously whenever you did anything.
  17. Geo was 1065/1100mm wheelbase, 385mm chainstays, 0mm BB rise, 8" seat tube. Pretty bang on to todays standards when you consider it's 8 years ago. Also considering the most trialsy frame beforehand was probably the Brisa B26, which was 1025mm wheelbase, 405mm chainstays, -something BB drop, 12 1/2" seat tube.
  18. In terms of stocks it was Koxx with the Levelboss in 2002. Also the first frame to come in long lengths, 1065 and 1100, everything else was really short before then, and they never broke. Such a revolutionary frame, I really really wish I'd never sold mine.

BB7's are very powerful but I never got mine to feel solid and I didn't really like the feel. If you can get a Mono Trial second hand I would thoroughly recommend it, more powerful than a BB7 and feels beautiful. Never liked Magura's on the front at all, disc's all the way.
  20. Steel frame, steel forks, Atomlab rims and no weight saving techniques in the slightest
  21. Alternatively, work your way up to being a SM, we don't have warning bars
