  1. yeah i could but kinda defeats the purpose of suspension lol.
  2. but its the shortest fork i can get all the other ones are either non-qr 20 and will break off after a 180 and the other ones are 6lbs or heavier.
  3. yeah that is correct. I found it on some mechanic thing. I just ended up buying the tree splined sproket. This way I can slam the sproket really close to the frame and it shouldn't hit the seatstay.
  4. well the problem is I am running the maximum size sproket on my bike if I run any larger the chain rubs the frame. (this is my mod) I am on low budget. Is anyone here 100% sure you can run a 14t? I read somewhere that the smallest you can run on a normal hub is 16t and 15t if its this special freewheel made for it. Also on bmx screw on hubs, they all say compatible only with 13 or 14t freewheel.
  5. i have like a 5t sproket on my front, all i need to know is will it be compatible
  6. Hey I have a normal zhi (screw on) hub. Right now I am running a 16t acs claw on it, if I switch to a 14t will that work? I can't remember if you need a special hub to run a freewheel that size. Thanks!
  7. no its just progressivly getting worse. I can't lift over 10 lbs with it now. (only my left one) Its just bad luck really, all my friends have back problems and can't ride cause of it. This year everyone seemed to fack up lol. The bb is ok when I am on the bike. I will eventually try running ridgid
  8. I decided to run it kind of like a street bike set up I thought suspension might help my wrist problem. The bike is awesome but I can't ride it because of my wrist thing. The only bike that didn't hurt my wrist was my dob but that frame sucks in terms of not snapping I wasn't sure if the geo is what helped my wrist or the suspension. Looks like it was the geo so I have to go back to a mod probably. I bought some new bars maybe that will effect something. I took a picture standing next to the bike, do I look too tall for my bike? (Im 170cm) I ran the same bars on my dob as this bike but they are killing me. DAS OLD BIKE DAS NEW BIKE
  9. he does a bit but not in this video. Thanks for the comments
  10. The guy in the video is not me he is a friend of mine. I thought it would be interesting to see what people think. He rides a stock bike (old school megamo) but has a new bike now.
  11. I am canadaian and for the first 3-4 years of trials riding I only watched ryan leech and didn't even know their were other riders. (In canada they make a bigger deal of him i imagine) Then i saw neil t for the first time and was totally blown away. When I first got a trials forum uk account and saw damon watson and neil t i thought it was some 12 year old stealing their name. All the uk guys are legends to me cause im so used to watching manifesto style TGS seemed totally new.
  12. I think being famous doesn't have too much to do with being good. People who are famous usually put time and effort and took initiative into becoming famous. If you ride a frame you like but someone says you have to ride this frame you don't like or we won't sponsor you then a lot of people will say no. If you spend all your time just riding then you probably won't be as famous as someone who spends their time making media, doing demos, and trying to get sponsors even if you are a lot better. You can't just expect a sponsor to always find you especially if they are not a bike company. If its a company like mac donalds or something they don't know what is the "best riding" and care more about what makes them sales than what a few elites in the sport think. Norco isn't a trials company and none of his sponsors make trials parts. The reason people like him a lot is also because he rides a mountain bike instead of a trials bike. Everyone starts riding on a mountain bike, but if I saw some guy doing trials on a trials bike I would just assume you need some special 5000$ bike to do it and I would be demotivated to try it. If I saw ryan leech doing it i would be a lot more amazed cause his bike doesn't look special. I think he promotes mountain biking a lot the average mtnbiker will be more impressed by him than any other trials rider simply because they can relate to his bike. But yeah also I imagine he is like Hans Rey. By today's standards hes not good but he was the best at a time. Also if your a company you don't want to change riders all the time because the rider builds a reputation over time and if you change riders everytime some new kid is better you would have a new rider like every week. Ryan leech is probably more famous than norco because he has built a reputation for so long.
  13. like i said not a street rider.
  14. Yeah but name one. Like one that didn't fully recover. Ive never heard of any pro dieing or being in a vegetable state.
  15. its sponsored by nike. Is their any major company that sponsors trials like macdonalds or something? I actually don't know. But anyways if you have 4 guys who are your friends filming vs like 20 professionals paid by nike to film u all day the vid will probably turn out better in terms of camera work and stuff. Also if someone is being paid to film you they will have more patience and put more effort into things than your friends. Garrett remolds is like the scotty cranmer of street riding. hes probably the best rider but everyone would rather watch like chase dehart or davey watson cause they make riding look more fun. bmx vids are filmed in around a year, they take the best clips of everything in that time span. A video from danny mac is filmed in 2 hours. I think if he made a full length vid it would be way better than that. look how many video parts the average bmxer has its like 2 or 3. Look how many the averge trials guys have. Its like 16-20. Trials vids are good I used to only watch bmx vids when i rode trials. Now i ride bmxish and all i watch is trials vids. Its interesting to see the different style. As for not wearing a helmet has any bmxer (street rider) ever hurt their head? The only ones I can think of are jimmy levan and he was skateboarding and mike aitken who was dirt jumping. either bmxers are really lucky or just the guys who die aren't pro so u never hear about it. People inductively reason... logically it makes sense to wear one but if no one ever gets hurt why bother? I bet if even a single pro broke his skull and had to sit in a wheelchair cause they smashed their head 360ing a stairset everybody in the universe would wear one. All bmxers wear helmets when park riding.
  16. carbon fiber road bike frames weigh around 1000 grams. So yeah... im sure I could brake that frame with 1 hand. Im guessing that frame wouldn't even hold for flatlander unless you are perfectly smooth and never screw anything up. I imagine flatland needs a stronger frame than road bikes but maybe not. Probably most the stress is in the fork and wheels.
  17. he is 1 of 2 things... extremely extremely lazy and forgetful, or a crook. He has never done anything like just directly robbing money, but then again if your any remotely intelligent crook you wouldn't do that you would always come up with an excuse to take money otherwise its too obvious.
  18. Ok so here is the situation. I order 2 viz rims (red) and he tells me he only has blue and green. So I notify him telling him to cancel the order and refund me. After 3 days he just sends the package and does not refund me. I only bought them because of false advertising, and now he won't let me return them. What kind of bs is this? This is also the second time he has done this to me. On this one its more fair because in one email i said screw it just send it, but I sent 3 saying to cancell it and clearly stated my final decision is to cancel the order. Theoretically he could have just read the one that said send it and missed the other 3 because they were sent at slightly different times. Is the guy a theif? Now I have decided just to take the order because I would rather end up with 2 rims and -200 dollars, as opposed to just -200 dollars. Also 3 days before the order I asked him if he had red and he didn't respond, but immediately after i purchased them he responded instantly to my email. He seems to be able to reply at very convenient times. This one isn't a perfect case because he could have just had bad luck. This one he has no way around.. The first time I bought 2 forks from him and he only had one, so he billed me for 2 and sent one. He also said he can't refund me and all he could do is give me credit on my next order. Great system funny how he conveniently ends up with all my money this way.
  19. only one reason.. sometimes there is something i need to buy and tarty doesn't have it One time I bought 2 forks from him, and he only had 1 so he sent 1 and billed me for 2. I asked for a refund and he said he couldn't refund me and all he could do is give me credit on my next order. Total bs. I already cancelled my current order. If he doesn't refund me Im gonna be really pissed. Another time I ordered blue cranks and he sent black without telling me The other times he made a mistake at least he tried to fix it.
  20. oh so its not just me??? They screwed up 5/6 of my orders made me really pissed. I thought they were just screwing me over cause im from canada and can't do a thing about it. I would have ordered from tarty but they don't have 24" coloured rims. I wanted to buy the 24" red viz rims, but they didnt have them in stock and told me after I paid and are sending me a blue and a green one instead... Can't even get a set of matching rims... I even emailed them before I ordered asking if they had red, and after 5 days they don't respond so I just ordered anyways. Its actaully fun to order... Its like winning the lottery if you get what you paid for. Tarty bikes is no fun cause you always know whats in the box, but trials uk is awesome! When I order a rim Ill get a box the size of an innertube and wonder DID I GET MY RIM??? Or would they just send me an inner tube because its a round shaped object instead.
  21. hey I made an order 3 days ago at trials uk, but they haven't responded or done anything and haven't returned any of my emails. Does anyone know whats going on?
  22. hmm that makes sense but when I saw a pic of that its the same shape as my viz bars which hurt the worst. If I pull anything with any force it hurts. Even if im just lifting a weight perfectly straight, so I don't think the angle can help.
  23. what kind do I buy? Is their a specific name for it?
  24. thanks for the help Im 21 My wrist pain is from pulling not from landings. Pushing motions are no problem. Does a wrist brace help for pulling at all? Healing doesn't really do anything as I stated. I stopped riding for almost a month once and when I started it went bad after a couple hours. The main thing that hurts is bunny hops. Aside from that nothing else is too bad. Unfortunately bunny hops are necessary for pretty much any type of trick riding.
