  1. I would never use a warranty. You gotta pay a lot of money to ship it, and it takes them like a month to send it to the company and inspect things and after all that they may not even warranty it wasting your time completely. Unless you have a spare frame its not worth missing all that riding.
  2. no music is a good thing you can hear all the brake and drives sounds better which makes it feel more like you are watching it in real life and you can focus more on the riding. One thing I thought was funny is how much the filmer says yeah. Really nice vid seeing controlled smooth riding is what makes it look fun. I also liked how their were more lines in that video as opposed to just really big single moves only. You guys are both really good. favourite move was the gigantic planter side hop. I live near a planter like that one, that was so huge.
  3. If I were you I would be safe. buy a spacer that they use to seperate the bashring and put that on the hub. It looks like it will be a really tight fit, the spacer is like 2$ so you might as well get it. Try it without the spacer and if it fails than add the spacer in. Usually their is enough thread on the hub to run a spacer and cog. + you can file down the spacer.
  4. How old is the kid? He doesn't look very old. He is probably really good for his age.
  5. that was really awesome. That post gap was so crazy. Lotsa sweet style too.
  6. get the onza 128 rear if you can afford it. Best rim I have ever used hands down. They are almost as light as sl rims but incredibly strong. I find lots of little holes to be dramatically stronger than a couple big ones. The rims are rock solid.
  7. I would think it would mess up the crosses. I suppose you would just leave out 1 hole on each flange but than the holes next to it would strech a bit furthur but u could balance that easily by making the spoke tension adjust by feel as opposed to distance. It should work the holes on the hub are only a couple mm apart and spoke threads can adjust like 10

    Neons

everything I buy is either from tarty bikes or biketrialstation.com they sell everything that tarty bikes doesnt. They sell all products made by zhi, neon, bionic, and viz and they sell for cheaper than anywhere else, its cheaper to buy from biketrialstation with shipping than any dealer in canada. Btw get a bionic frame. Neon is a terrible company. Everything they make breaks. I had about 7 products from them and every single one broke. Their cranks broke the day i bought them.
  9. im saying he put the broken frame because its a subject of interest. The frame is the subject of interest not the sponsorship and it is interesting. I am glad he put that up there I have never seen a steel frame break like that. I think its cool that he is pro and posts stuff. Most pros are all snobby and stay away from forums. Everyone is trying to interrupt everything he does as snobbery.
  10. what are you riding? You should get a viz urban fork. They make them in 20" they have way less rake meaning you can do spin tricks a trillion times better. Really good riding that was quite stylin
  11. I read all damon's posts. He clearly did not state any opinion about anything except say that it would be strong enough if your a light rider. All he did was post a picture of a snapped frame. I hate when things are over-analyzed. Its like if you broke your leg and put picture up and people said you are discrediting the health care system. So yeah I agree with Damon people are being dorks.
  12. not the first. I ran a sucessful suspension bike for a long time. Eventually i stopped cause magnesium lowers are too weak and all suspension forks are magnesium. Qr-20 forks are way to much rise and heavy. Xc forks would be more than strong enough if they were aluminum, but magnesium is weaker than plastic imo.
  13. what is the title of the video?
  14. riding 10/10 editing 10/10 perfect video thats all i can say. Thats my new favourite trials video
  15. that was amazingly awesome. Hes the best mod rider ive seen in terms of non-tgs riding.
  16. WHY CANT people JUST USE VIMEO??? You can download from vimeo and it actually works 100% of the time.
  17. i belive the distorted audio and picture is because of youtube not the camera and editing. Youtube is pretty lame. I am going to say good everything. Good choice in metal too, 99% of the time people use metal its american garbage.
  18. i bought it from tarty bikes. Its 1 day old. Do the berings stop sucking after a while?
  19. I have been previously using a trialtech sport rear hub with a 16t acs claw, I just upgraded to a profile hub but the profile hub sucks. Is my hub defective or does the hub just suck? I have the one that has a casstte lockring and splined cogs (the one tarty sells) The engagment slips 3 times as much as the acs claw, and the hub berings are horrible. The wheel can't spin for more than 15 seconds which is complete crap. My triltech hub spins 2-3 minutes. Manuels are like my favourite trick and I like to be able to manuel more 10 seconds before I come to a dead stop. Are they all this bad or just mine? I used to own an echo freehub and it was better than this. Like 99% of a hub is enagament and berings. When I but a expensive hub i pretty much am paying only for those things.
  20. great riding but thats gotta be the worst filming I have ever seen. Everything is out of frame, and filmed from a terrible angle. I couldn't tell how high a single side hop was.
  21. his older bike was the black one, I think this vid was just an unwanted clips video between the period of the next level and April 2009 video. The riding in the april video was far better in every way.
  22. !!!!!!!!!! thats crazy but brakeless seems kind of pointless ultimately, cause you could probably still do the same thing with a brake on your bike but I guess its a whole new direction. Adding restrictions generates interesting styles. One thing I can think that would be cool to explore is pedal kick 180s without brakes. But yeah this looks much better than chris atkrigg.
  23. viz urban forks are awesome, they have no rake so they make spin tricks a lot easier. It sucks how people get hurt like that injuring your self doing tech is so demotivaional. Hope you get better soon!
  24. biketrialstation.com the site is not a virus but it says soem crap when u goto the page. If u would rather just deal directly contact info@biketrialstation.com by email. I buy all my stuff form there or tarty
  25. the only place that I know of that sells them is biketrialstation.com I just bought the mod frame it cost only 226$ (126 pounds.) everything from hong kong is half the price of anywhere else but shipping costs a lot over half the price of the frame. Looks stronger than my current frame and is lighter too. If it sucks Ill just switch back to my bionic but 200$ for 150 grams seems like a good enough deal. I bought ti bolts for everything which was 100$ for like 20 grams.
