I'm not gonna buy some decks, I could afford it but I don't want to. I've got a huge music library on my computer and it's much easier to download and get hold of tracks for my computer. Definitely up for buying a MIDI controller but not sure which one to look at.

Anyone know Virtual DJ much? I've got it for Mac now, but don't really have much of an idea how the hell to use it but want to learn. Any information or tutorials that anyone knows of? A couple of the guys at work use it so will ask them about it too I think. Also is it common that you download plug-ins for stuff, effects kinda. Also where do people get their loops and shit from? Thanks

I want next yearrrrr! Uni work is shit. I never go to lectures anymore lol. It's not that it's boring, it's actually fairly interesting they're just covering things I've done loads at A-Level so don't feel I need to re-learn the basics. Going to pounded tonight again, £1 in, £1 for Carling, Strongbow, Fosters and Carlsberg pints, as well as all Vk's and Single vodka and mixers, £1.50 for a double vodka and mixer. I'm going to die. Like every monday

Yeah being genuine is good although don't let girls get the better of you. I've found this always works, if you f**k about a bit with them and playfully tease / mock / be mean to them they stay in their place and don't walk all over you. I'm so tired No sleep last nite gr -
Nicer templates, easier interface compared to Office 04 I think.
-
Yeah it's pretty swish. Looks a lot better. Much better templates. Not worth paying £100 for but still worth having if you can get it. It's fine on my Intel. I do use Pages a lot though so it's not gonna be used an awful lot!

I thought little snitch was gonna kill my computer when I had kernel for a good 10 mins when restarting but it's alright now. Office '08 is good

As far as I'm aware you'll just have to eject is when you start your computer up, should take a mere 2 seconds though if you just don't want it for Aesthetic reasons?

Bren's shit hot at design but doesn't know much code like he sed What do you want to do exactly. I'll be able to help but it's really hard to find out WHAT you want to do. Any examples? Add me on MSN if you want. mod661 at hotmail dot com

Quicktime Pro will do it. Basically your usual Quicktime program with a serial number in makes it Pro... Not hard to get hold of.

http://handbrake.fr/ is the solution I think. It can change a lot of shit and compress it in to rubbish quality or small size Yeah upgrade is okay. Did you use a full Leopard install DVD or the Drop-in disc supplied to some Mac's? Although the last '1 minute remaining' takes anything between 5 and 15 mins it's pretty swish.

Work shit loads and get paid shit loads too , Travel Europe for 22 days or so with mates from home. Drink beer, go to Leeds Fest, move in to my new apartment, do f**k all Uni work, maybe buy a new MBA with SSD if I get paid enough

No reason for the 2gb sticks being so much to be honest! I'd get it from there which I've heard good reviews about or Crucial are decent - I got 4gb for my MacBook pro for under £100 which is a really good price and it's ridiculously quick now! Really easy to fit in a MacBook, add me to MSN I'll even talk you through it. You just need a Phillips #0 screwdriver to un-do three screws. When you get in to design and image editing it should be okay, although when you move to Video or gaming it will really have trouble due to the shared memory on the graphics card. Just something worth bearing in mind.

Any reason for not having your number plate where it's meant to be? lol. Nice bodywork though.

PS I AM PRO! I wonder why they don't put Apple ones on the keyboard, maybe so they'll work on PC's too?

Find someone with a University ID card and buy it from an Apple store - I think it's 14% discount on the MacBook's or 15% on the MBP's. Get Applecare if you can get University discount 'cos it's reduced down from £199 to £58.75 which is a BARGAIN. If you don't need it, sell it for a profit on eBay - Simple! As long as you can set up your file sharing with the PC's it's pretty easy within the OS to connect to PC's over your wired or wireless network. Office 2008 is just out and £99 for the Student and Home edition - worth buying I'd say. I get about 4 hours on my MacBook Pro's battery on full brightness heaving useage and it's 7 months old. Applecare covers your battery which has an expected life of 12-18months meaning it's well worth it buying the extra cover. Only thing to note about the MacBook's is that they have shared graphics cards which means they sometimes don't meet requirements by some pro software (Final Cut a good example, or games such as Need for Speed Carbon). They're a decent computer for what you seem to say you'll need. I'm not sure where the f**k Colchester is but there's Apple stores popping up everywhere now so you'll be reet. Gimme a shout via PM if you need anymore help.
