  1. Ben's a good one to chat to, he's sound and a good person to ride with, knows the place rather well too! And talk to Rowan about it when he's fixed, he rides pretty much every day.
  2. Skoze

    oh my god

    That's not trials.
  3. Just looked it up on the Leeson site - could well be it! Green monos, green skewer, standard RL on the front, milled 20T bash, vee mount on the back, xtr levers, green hope bar ends (still on there now but f**ked) same headset, same seat... Will have to ask Dan who he got it from! EDIT: after finding this topic it's definitely Tom's old bike. Cool
  4. Funny you should say that, it looks like i might actually have the day off sunday for no apparent reason (not that i'm complaining!) Could well be a go-er, and hopefully it'll have a rear hub that's got more than 3 engagements on by then too! ZeroMatt; could well be, i recognise the name - where abouts was he from?
  5. Officially no, but i know of 2 that've been built in the last 6 months. I think you have to ask him very very very nicely
  6. Yeah, i'm going to get involved at some point - my old piv set up was pretty much ideal for everything. Having said that, this thing is so unbelievably comfy it might stay for a while, i'm getting old Haha, yeah just rode past it on the way home (assuming you're on about the GG) I want it so badly.
  7. I went to Norfolk the other day, came home with this. Leeson 609 (1020, +15, 380, 73/74*ish) Phase forks converted to 24" (i know, who does that?) Burns Ultimates Thomson stem + some Azonics. Hope monos on Rhyno Lites, (rear is a bolt on one for maximum retro-conversion cool points) Just needs a new rear wheel which is soon to be on it's way and it's perfect
  8. Short trialsy one all the way with a nice steep head angle and fairly high bars.
  9. This has summed up my take on things, you've pout my thoughts into words far better than i could have (and i doubt you'll take as much flak ) I don't see why people get so worked up about the sm thing (well no offense JT! but i can guess why you do...) i've never once felt that them having a pink name makes 'em any better than me, although i do feel that one of the two mentioned above feels they are and as such i have very little respect for him. The other just falls asleep in lifts. A fair few SM's are now good friends of mine, however, and not one has had that air about them as almost everyone who is an sm is a pretty cool person in general. Never once have i cared about a subforum for people who are helpful on here and have been on here for a pretty long time contributing to what is a very good forum. I'll side with isitafox too, i'd like to be a senior at some point but there's a list as long as my arm of people i'd put before me and quite frankly i don't care one way or another. Yours, risen to the bait and getting highlights of sm chat via msn, Essex.
  10. So that's who you are on here! Awesome riding, liked that Need to come ride london soon, i will have a bike in t minus 12 hours...
  11. Go away. But yes, they're good. Well, reds are good on a 24" with vees, anyway.
  12. Haha, i know it's Reynolds, just wondered what type exactly as i couldn't remember what the sticker used to say. Cheers dude!
  13. Gutted this has happened for the second time, i'll keep an eye out online and locally. Anything to set yours apart from the others in the world?
  14. I was thinking that too, he rolled back/ stopped pedalling pretty easily a few times. Flip-flop hub? Or just a nutter, either way.
  15. So i take it this is just gonna be a nice, romantic 24Tour reunion for two then...
  16. That's fair enough, but i'm suffering from a hangover an hour away on the sunday, so i'd still like my brief saturday session
  17. Surprisingly good, nice one! Get a better camera for the next one
  18. Still gay, but he's got some proper skills. That bail. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
  19. I've missed you too Surely there's more riders in Norwich than you?
  20. Does anyone remember what Clive Leeson made/ makes his out of? My 660 had a sticker on the downtube saying what it was, but i can't remember the number on it... 531 sounds familiar. No real reason, just curious!
  21. Some of that was huge, feel so sorry for your rims though. Do they charge for air up there?
