  1. Yeah man ive gotta go with Beau on this one. The riding was huge and awsome, soo smooth, ups to manual and stuff. Just supreme confidence and bike handling skill. And trust me its WAY bigger when u see him ride in person. Didnt like the editting to much though, i dont know why but i liked your other vids better. Just Another Day is still my fav vid james sorry!! Cheers, Ian. PS: we are still on for May right, ive got like 7 guys that wanna come out.
  2. Ive never used a rear disc on my trials bike but on my street bike it feels nice. I find though that if you dont have a really solid wheelbuild then the spokes tend to flex and you feel a little lessfeed back from the brake with a disc. I thought that i would hit my rotor all the time but i have yet to do it and when i ride street i love to do rolling sidehops and stuff so. As for the model, the only brakes i would consider for a rear disc are the hope mono trials, formula the one or avid code 7.
  3. Yeah like cai said it all depends on what you like. I find that lower pressure is better for natty whereas higher pressure is better for street and TGS. If you are a beginner and just starting to learn to balance and hop on the rear then a lower tire pressue is probably better because it gives you a bigger "footprint" on the ground. When you start to get into ups and gaps then go higher psi so u dont destroy your rims. I personally ride my tires high enough that they dont hit the rims when i drop and gap but low enough that it moulds to the edge i just tried to up. As you get smoother then you can run your tires at lower pressure for more feel. Just experiment for a while and youll find something you like. Cheers and hope this helps, Ian
  4. Yeah man support the canadian boy man. You euro bastards man, i look down on you lols. CANADA RULES!! PS: good luck jeff, ill cya when u get back, Cheers, Ian
  5. Dude the try-all tires are comparable to nothing. The minions are nice but the try alls actually stick to everything. Rail gaps in the wet... bring it on!!
  6. Deff koxx hydroxx with a full try-all cept a pro II hub and hope moto trials dual discs. And maybe a bugati for my self.
  7. Judging by the cable running too it it could be a really complicated internal shift mechanism. If u had 2 internal hubs then you would get double the geers. I dunno looks really dumb though.
  8. Hey Guys, I wanted to know what you think of getting trials to be an olympic sport. Would the pros want to go and who would sponsor such an even. Is trials diverse enough to have enough countries send a rep. I wanted to petition the olympic committee to consider bike trials but need to get support for both the UCI and BIU and i would need several pro to add their support. Any opinions?? Cheers, Ian
  9. So a frame with a higher bottom bracket will feel better on the backwheel because you are standing more over the rear wheel. Generally frames with really high bbs are more fo urban TGS styles of riding. A frame with a lower bb will feel better when doing moves on 2 wheels like wedge and surges and is easier to balance for skinnies and such. Lower bbs are also easier to bunnyhop too. Its all up to preference what height you ride. Some people swear by 0 bb others like +60. I think frames with a mid level rise (30-40) such as the Czar or the Koxx Hydroxx offer the best of both worlds though.
  10. yeah ive got the same one u do but mine keeps coming loose all the time. I have the 07 echo hub without funn bolts, wtf is wrong with mine then??
  11. Why not man, so the guy wants his bike to be personal. Snot my fault i waited for 2 hours outside home hardware to get the specific paint i needed for my fork so it would match the white of my rims perfectly. Vanity is the name of the game.
  12. Is that the new one, i have the 07 one and it dont keep the chain tight worth a damn. Do those work better cuz i love the idea.
  13. Ok we know everyone has different cranks and that they all have what they have for a reason. Pretty much what it boils down to is u need stuff that dont suck. Any of the deng stuff is ok, the tryall cranks are great and so are tensiles. The bashring usually comes with the cranks and if not just buy the one thats supposed to. For freewheels use either white industries eno trials, the monty freewheel, try all 108 or an acs for a budget build. Case closed.
  14. Ohh Man if im out myself it has to be music for sure. If it is metal all the way, some hardcore/rock is cool too. Funk is also surprisingly good riding music too. My fav bands to ride too are: nevermore, dragon force and lamb of god!!!
  15. I tore all the muscles in my back and then twisted my spine. Required many hours of painful physio. Other then that cuts and bruises, my shins are all scar tissue though!!
  16. My friend has one and he swears by it. Its super comfy on the rear wheel and gaps pretty well but if your doing moves on 2 wheels look somewhere else. I find that im really far over the front end and its not as comfortable. Street trials yeah, natty nahh
  17. Yeah the hayes are crap. Period. The forumla brakes are really nice. The ORO would be a sweet front brake and the ONE would be awsome in the rear. Their really powerful and stuper grabby!

OK well considering my limited knowledge of anatomy: Arm pump is the feeling you get when blood in your arm muscles build up and put pressure on the casing around that muscle called the facia. Some people have tried getting their facia cut open or removed. But basically what you want to do is to try and relax when your holding the bars. Really concentrat on being as relaxed as possible. Strengthening the muscles of your fingers and arms will make it easier to relax them. Pretty much when your getting bad arm pump step off the bike and wiggle your fingers around for a bit. If it gets really really painful and doesnt go away for a long time you should talk to your doctor or a personal trainer about it. Its a common problem that is usually solved by riding for years and having good technique. Cheers, Ian
  19. Having a maggie up front i think is a little more work cuz u have to grind and tar two rims and stuff. Basically a front maggie=on/off no modulation disc=more modulation If you want your front brake to feel like the rear then go with a maggie if you wanna do nose manuals and stuff go front disc for sure cheers, Ian
  20. Ahhh yes thats the one man, You are my hero lols thanks alot bro Ian
  21. Ok so im looking for a video that was posted here a while ago by a french rider who rode for koxx and was an elite champ. I forget his name it was like aurieln forney or something, the video was on dailymotion and had the song rush. Its like my fav vid of all time but i forgot to favourite it. If you guys can help me out i be soo grateful, Thanks, Ian
  22. Ugh, I work for a company that is the only distributer for specialized in our area which mean that when anyone of my mates has a street rig its a P and i hate them. Like their ok on the DJs but for street the wheelbase is way to long and the bb way to high. Head angle is really steep and it generally rides like crap. Your build is sweet but get a Doberman or BlackMarket. Only slightly more expensive and a WAY better frame overall.

K you need to get one of those finger working things, its like a vee that you squeeze. Next time ur in a boring meeting at work, squeeze like 2 hundred times. Your arm pump will be gone in like 2 weeks because you forearms will be ripped.
  24. Yeah i really hate it when people can do TSG but only TSG its not fun to watch. People who link their lines and stuff are way nicer to watch and way more skilled over all in my oppinion.
  25. Yeah the king hubs are awsome. If i were you i would go with the pro II though. For the king though get the heavy duty one with the full casset body so you can run gears if you ever do end up wanting too (looser). But whichever you choose youll be happy, trust me. Ian
