Here's a different opinion to all those so far..... I've been using kings for the past 7 years in trials. I've had 3 in total, and each one has given me one or two MAJOR skips, where it's completely failled to engage, and every time it's resulted in a fairly nasty accident. I still wouldn't ever consider using anything else though. Nothing else is made or designed anywhere near as well. I put the skips I've had down to me never servicing any of them, my current king ran for well over 2 years before it gave me any kid of skip. I've now blasted it out with wd40 and just slapped it back together, and it's perfect. I don't trust hope Pro2's at all. Seeing as mowgli manages to destroy one roughly every 8 weeks....

why would you ever want to run a ratio like 16:11? 16:14 is about perfect, 16:13 feels a little hard for most people, it's harder than 18:15. Anything lower than 16:13 must feel bloody horrible. This is trials lads, not 4x. we run spinny gears.

Same here, but it's kinda relavent even still I think, much the same as england, although society now isn't nearly so religious, it's still religion over the past few hundred years that has shaped the commonly accepted ways in which we act and how we live our lives, even if it no longer plays a part in day to day life.
