  1. Did a trackday too, 3 weeks ago at Brands Hatch GP, best one yet!
  2. Perfection, and that intro was quality.
  3. Ridiculous stuff as usual. Watched it a few times. Shame we couldn't see more of it at Tarty Weekender.
  4. I think I've got one of each, all I know is they've saved old worn levers that I couldn't get to work properly with standard pistons.
  5. Has anyone ever used a rim with a sandblast finish as opposed to a smooth machined/anodised one? Strictly after feedback from people who didn't grind the rims, obviously. Got a new Trialtech Carthy rear rim, it's huge and really light so beats my Spank in both those areas, but I know the sandblast braking surface will probably lose me some power, I use tar but I've only ever used smooth/machined rims, can anyone compare experiences with both? It won't be built up for at least a week or so yet so I've got some time.
  6. Cheers, yeah everyone was on fire that day. Mark Westlake and a couple of others were taking pics, fun was had. Never owned one of those so I can't remember the geo, but the closest thing I know of is a Pashley 26GHZ which I loved, it's old school but not too old, so it's loads of fun!
  7. 112cm. Ali did 130...
  8. I just beat my all time bunny hop record at the Tarty Weekender on this bike, couldn't believe it!
  9. My video for this particular decade is due soon. I'm gonna do my best to actually film this year. I'm not really into small clips and raw footage so I'm gonna guess about September.
  10. Cheers! It's pretty much yours with a shorter top tube.
  11. Cheers, yeah I had it laying around, I'm sure it'll improve my riding greatly. The old version's spring reached a lot further so might have been stiffer yeah, I do like how you can just unhook the chain on this one though.
  12. I don't think it's that common, but yeah it's pretty terminal, Hope should sort it no problem though.
  13. These cranks are my favourites, but you can't go under 22t lol, trust me I did look at other options but decided to stay with 22-19 for the 20th consecutive year. Tensioners don't bother me too much anyway, this new single sided one is great. Furthermore, these Clean bars are well nice.
  14. Thanks! I do try and have something a bit different, I wanted something that looked like a normal bike and let me use a normal stem, no disc mount, I would have liked horizontal dropouts but my gear ratio leaves me two chainstay lengths, one is too short to use a proper tyre and one is straight from 1998.
  15. Cheers, yeah I never felt quite right on 24" wheels, plus it's nice to have a brake that locks no matter what, I'll have to live with the noise...
  16. Cheers, I basically wanted a Pashley 26GHZ but without the weight and a slightly higher bb. With the 410 x 30 fork it's 1015, +5, 385, 74. Don't be fooled by the short wb, it's got a huge reach, partly due to the long head tube and the relatively low bb, which fulfills my dream of not needing any spacers or a silly vertical stem.
  17. I've missed 26" wheels and never quite got the geo right in my last few goes, after one full days riding I think I've done it.
  18. Just send them an Email with the serial number, should be able to tell you what it is, like I said it could be a custom one but there are people on here who know much more about Leesons.
  19. Definitely a Leeson with those dropouts and that bb area. No idea which one though, doesn't look like any of the production ones I've seen, but I don't know too much about them, might be a custom one.
  20. Yeah it's definitely a short bike, but it won't ride like one with the bars like that
