    Injury Advice

Cheers, I actually read somewhere that pain for 3 weeks then a sudden recovery is quite common. It'll be 3 weeks on Sunday so fingers crossed. If it goes on much longer I won't have a GET creative video.
  4. I've pulled a tendon in my arm so I've got no chance. Looks good though! Enjoy.

    Injury Advice

Anyone had bicipital tendonitis? I've pulled a tendon in my upper arm and can't ride, even everyday movements are quite painful. Happened 18 days ago and the doctor said last Thursday to rest and take painkillers but nothing much has changed. He said 4 weeks should be enough for it to heal but it doesn't feel like it. Anyone have experience or advice? Cheers
  6. If they put an inch on the top tube and filled in the seat hole then I could see a point to it. 26 ain't my cup of tea but I can see it working. But the 24...the head tube is tiny so stacking a streety stem up to match that Bb height is out of the question. So it has to be a big tgs stem to counter that head angle. But then the Bb has half the rise of the popular tgs 24's. So a 130mm stem and a seat post eh? The back end looks cool. But it looks like one of those old cheap nasty humpback mission bikes that had tubes poking all over the place.
  7. The head angle says long stem. But the rest of it pretty much says 2009 fourplay with shorter stays. I don't see what it's gonna be good at.
  8. I wanna see the 24 built up. So I can be sick.
  9. I get bored of parts and replace them too often to break any. I think about the potential injuries too much.
  10. Best bunch of videos, EVER!

I can live with that, where do they come from? Cheers Ali & Ben, I guess I'd rather have the older ones as they're meant for rim brakes but I'm glad the new ones will work too.

Na it's ok I'm gonna stick with normal clamps & stay under 43mm. If I can get these Spank rims they'll be perfect.

Right I'm on my phone so i can't browse very efficiently. Am I missing something with these TR rims? Tartybikes says they're single wall, are you talking about older double wall models? Ali those rims would be a dream if they had a braking surface! All their rims are disc only aren't they?

Yeah. I'm heavy, I dent things. so I want all the rim there. Plus I want a black brake surface if possible. Looks like echo, onza or trialtech.

He was yes. I sent him 2 or 3 messages about it. When I first messaged him saying I'll take it he said he'd rather send me pics first. so I said ok, never got any pics. Then I read he might be at Radfest so I messaged again and suggested getting it there. No answer. He's been posting on here since so I give up.

Yeah I can't find a good DX32/Phatso in 32h without a grind so it looks like it's gonna have to be something modern.

    26" rim choice

I'd say 40mm but I'll consider good rims from 38. It's partly I'd like wider, and partly I don't really like the Dmr rim.

    26" rim choice

cheers. the inspired is as wide as What I've got but the echo could work. it'd push my brake clearance to the limit though and I might even have to trim the pads. Just need to check how far out my slaves are gonna stick. Cheers

Ok. I'm not clued up on trials rims. I'm obviously looking at the wrong ones. Can someone link me to where i can buy these rims? Must be 43mm max Must be double wall Looks like it's gonna have to be drilled. I remember I had a trialtech drilled rim on the back years ago. That seemed decent. Ta

IT'S SINGLE WALL. Can only find rear undrilled, too wide. Interesting...43mm would just about fit, price is decent too, cheers!

    26" rim choice

Well I'm on 35 at the mo, so 36 is pointless, 38mm (a DX32) seems the only option that's not drilled to shit, but they're all either 36 hole or molested with a grinder. Ideally 40-42 would be nice. But they're all single wall & full of holes. I've owned both of Dmr's rims & I think their brake surfaces are crap, so something new would just be nice.

Na, because if i break that rim then every other rim out there Is 32h and I'm stuck with 36. Just need a quick easy rim change.
