  1. Had a sandwich, then some weetabix.. Was in one of them fussy-hungry moods..
  2. Bacon beans and two fried eggs, was banging.
  3. Well the way I see it is that it's in his hands at the time, and if it got ran over then it must have been in a road, which is his fault because he should have been more responsible with someone elses bike, and put it on a path at least...
  4. But I don't really wanna pay for something I didn't break, regardless of whether I should or shouldn't have let him borrow it I didn't damage it, and he agreed to pay for any damage if anything happened, and it did so he should pay up for everything, not just buy me bits and hope I'll forget about the hub, but I dont wanna build up the new bits with a cracked shell that might compramise the strength of the new wheel, thus possibly breaking it again and having to pay for new stuff again, so my bike is currently in bits waiting for money that might not even turn up, I just don't want to be mugged off that's all. :/
  5. So here's the story... I was at a party on a Friday night and I get a call from a mate asking if he can borrow my bike, I say yes, on the one condition that he pays for damage if any. Next day at about 4, I get another call from my mate, telling me that I'm gonna need a new back wheel because his dad ran my back wheel over, he agreed to pay for everything, and did, bought me a new rim, tyre, tube, tape and spokes and nipples, which I got with no hassle, with the bike at his I had no way of looking at my bike to see any damage myself, so I went to his house and got it, chucked it in the car and went home, and upon closer inspection I noticed a crack going across the ridge of my hub, so I ring him up straight away and tell him the problem, he says he's already put in the order when i asked him for the money to do it myself, as I knew what I wanted, and he hasn't got much knowledge when it comes to the technical stuff. And now he's saying that he hasn't got the money for the hubshell when he's bought himself a new pivotal seat, post and clamp set up worth about £50.. And on top of that I went to his house when he wasn't there and asked his dad about what happened, and he had no idea what I was going on about. I'm normally a reasonable person, but he ha has a track record of owing people money and I dont want to wait for ages for him to pay up, what do I do? I don't wanna break the law doing anything for the money, because that Would get Me in more shot than it's worth, but I want the money so I can get out and ride again... Any suggestions? Cheers
  6. Its nice to see that companies are making 24" bikes and parts without question, like they've always been there, and the set of three together look great!
  7. Just order a 12t sprocket, or an 18t freewheel depending on your setup, and it'll just screw on to either side of the hub. Itll be a tight fit but if you put it on the bike and pedal it will eventually tighten Hope this helps! Kieran
  8. I thought that was quite funny actually.. gotta love trials forum humour
  9. Haha, sorry! And I'm not sure, I just noticed it, and it looks like they are going to be sold, looks like they've produced quite a few...
  10. Hey guys, I was looking through Facebook yesterday and I saw a guy called 'bike rider' on there, and he has pictures of these frames and bike parts made by free? Has anyone else heard of these? The frame looks like a koxx foxx, and there's other pictures of hubs, stems and cranks too. Here's the link to his profile: http://m.facebook.com/home.php?refsrc=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2F%3Fref%3Dnf_fr&refid=0&m_sess=ItHLR-5mGi8VQ5&ref=nf_fr&_rdr#!/profile.php?id=100002569674074 Cheers!
  11. Always loved these frames, so nice looking!
  12. So annoying, pictures of all these riders in beautiful places abroad am im stuck here in sunny old kent without a holiday since 2004 Makes me wanna move out there
  13. Yeah, bombproof. A mate of mine drilled one himself, and it was still super strong! Only Problem is that they're quite narrow, if you can, try and get hold of a trialtech undrilled rim or one of those try-all street ones, they'll hold up, and they're wider if you have a wide frame
  14. Normally it's because some are too loose or not properly tensioned, so the other spokes take all the force of the loose ones, causing them to snap.
  15. All these foreign riders that have been coming through recently, their all so good! Top riding man
  16. Nice vid, looks like a bit of a powerhouse and that stem looks lush!
  17. Great idea, looks well layed out too
  18. You'll be best off just buying from tartybikes, they have the right parts

The feedback from the crowd just goes to show how good he was, and it makes a change from the usual stick we all get from riding. Top lad!
  20. Holy hell, that was mad!
