  1. I think my Leeson machined down one for a 22t was around 105mm.
  2. Maxxis make the 24" tyres. 2.5" High Roller, ST/duel ply, exactly the same as the 26" versions.
  3. If your keen on bunnyhops go for the ashton, never ever even ridden one I don't think, but would be better for bunnyhops. not many people can bunnyhop controls with flat bars etc, But I have a 1060 pure with risers, high ones and I can bunnyhop it ok.
  4. I'd run around 90mm withplenty of rise, 15deg or so, 70mm will be cramped I'd imagain. I ran Eco Urbans for a while brakeless on my ET, and they were well nice, rode nicer than with pashleys.
  5. Watched it earlier mate, its beaaaaaaaasty:D really good, some big stuff, impressive.
  6. My experience of 24" tyres.. Front: Spesh Roller 2.5" big profile, great grip, ok wear rate, 650g, paper sidewalls! Tioga Comp3 2.1" well narow, mine was narrower than everybody elses, does the job, cheap, look cool too. Halo Choirboy lite, 2.3" bit overkill, like 980g or something, good beadlock, ran one on the rear for a while, grips ok in the summer, pinched it a bit, not too bad. Rear: Maxxis 2.5" heavy, 1150g? pinched it once, but I'm pretty harsh and pinch everything, big tyre, felt well crap at first, 'cos of extra eight, but they are the best tyre for trials. Tioga Factory DH 2.3" Look great, pinch like anything, pinched it 4 times in a day, grip ok when new, in dry, wear down pretty quick, fold unless rock hard, I think i was 50 psi I ended running mine at = no bouncyness obviously...
  7. I always hit my cranks off with a hammer, copper hide thingy, I pour a kettle full of boiling water over the crank, NOT bb, and just hit it, works in the end!
  8. That was well good, nice work Steve . That bunnyhop gap by Rowan is immence, to manual too, front to back on the rail by jaaames is sweet too. some biig static gaps there too steve, got a bit good...
  9. My ashton was 1030+ for sure. Its a little hard to measure it now though, 3 pieces etc..
  10. There shit. Dent all over the place, pretty good up/down though. Not for trials.
  11. Err wrong. There the best combo in the world, if the world was always dry, but with no dust. Still good if your into rim cleaning.
  12. Shutup slacker, i wanted to watch this haha!
  13. Im scared that some of you are 14 or so and can hook haha. I spent like a whole day with a 50" loading bay, bunnyhopping into them and got 2 to bash hahah.
  14. Try soaking it in thinners, may dissolve the loctite. Also, grind two flats on the bb, so you can put it in a vice etc. Put the whole shaabang in the freezer, then pour boiling water over the frame, not the bb, and undo it.
  15. plaz are more like 50mm? have a curve though..
  16. Great pictures, your ashton eddie was mintaaa. The first video I ever downloaded was of you with the hoobastank song, must have watched that 50 times, wouldnt mind seeing it again!
  17. yo bessel if my pures built and you go to oxford, fancy a ginger traveling partner??
  18. Try a tioga Jonny, £25 CRC, go in your leeson a treat. 35mm wide. Works with Rim brakes.
  19. Eaaaaasy. Less Trees to absorb the excess Carbon Dioxide produced from the burning of fossil fuels etc, casuing it to stop the short wave heat radiation returning back through the atmospheare, or something along those lines.
  20. I'm using one with a maggy at this very moment. Grind the lip off, or just leave it, works fine.
  21. Bailys and coke aha, dont like it, but its gotta be the only thing you can turn upside down and not loose much haha.
  22. Try a tioga rim, 35mm wide, weight of a 521, and not cheesey. £25 too owow
  23. I do it all the time, I know the height of everything almost before I do it, dunno why, just do, carry a tape measure sometimes, people I ride with do too, just the done thing, gives you more satisfaction I'd say knowing that its bigger than your previous best rather than, 'oh thats rather large' etc... Oh and no-one really cares about balance stuff, apart from Nick G maybe because its boring
