  1. Haven't posted anything in a while. Thought i'd pop this up here, it's currently for sale.
  2. I don't really go on here anymore but needed to vent somewhere. A guy screwed me over when buying a bike (not on here) e.g didn't post it when he said he did, bike was utterly f***** when it arrived even though it was described as 'mint' so spent more than i wanted fixing it and didn't contact me after numerous complaints. So decided to sell it as I don't ride it as much as I would like. Whilst looking up some info on the bike I found out that it is older than he said it was, which has really p***** me off as I thought I had finished all the bad news with that bike. Plus my lady friend has decided I don't exist anymore, I have naff all money atm, the weather is crap, I feel quite lonely and I'm not sure if I'm liking uni. I am usually quite chilled and don't get annoyed easily but all this has built up over the last couple of weeks and is getting to me bad and I don't know what to do. Ben.
  3. I would react like that if i thought we were crashing and wasn't wearing my seatbelt.
  4. Either walking or cycling. I like the facilities at opel it looks very comfy haha but not sure if it is too far away from Headingly.
  5. Hi, I'm hoping to go to Leeds Met next year to study Music technology. So far the University seems very good but I can't decide on which accommodation (I will be studying at the Headingly campus). I have visited the on site halls which are nice but far too expensive and I don't really want to be that near to the university itself. Has anyone stayed at Kirkstall Brewery Or the Opal 1&2 buildings? If so then what was your opinion on them and would you recommend staying there? Also has anyone studied Music technology at University? I know courses differ in different universities but how did you find the course and again would you recommend? I'm studying music at college at the moment and love recording/production but also really enjoy understanding how the technology actually works, so i believe music technology would suit me more than production. Cheers, Ben.

  12. We have been working on the track today, we have recorded some of the guitar parts again e.g the solo and added some more vocals plus added some violin parts as an experiment. The drums are programmed, when we have the time we will set up recording a proper kit. After this track is sorted we shall be recording more material. Thanks for the comment/advice
  13. My band at college have decided to record some stuff ourselves, here is the first working progress, we need to redo some guitar parts and unfourtunately college equipment isn't of a high standard but heyho! Costructive critism would be great. Enjoy. http://soundcloud.co...world-goes-down

  17. Right then folks, i regret selling my old amp so I'm after a little practice amp just something to shove in my room and play about on! As i don't have a job anymore money is a bit tight so my budget isn't massive and neither is my room so doesn't need to be very loud. I was looking at the line 6 spider IV 15 in a local shop and it seems to be what I'm after I've had a look at some reviews and it seems pretty decent, just wondering if any of you guys have any thoughts on it? Or if you guys recommend anything else? Cheers Ben.
  18. Awesome video! I love his style, its makes me wanna ride!
  19. I have recently stripped my bass it wasn't too hard, its best to do on a cheap guitar or guitar you don't want because it might go pear shape. My bass was £25 and the reason i bought it was to try stripping a guitar. Basically strip all the important bits from your guitar body e.g pickups, strings, volume and tone knobs, bridge etc (as my bass had a removable neck i took that off as well). Then i used a heat gun and once the paint starting to flake and crack i used a scrapey thing to scrape away all the crap then sanded down the wood starting with a course grain of sandpaper to a fine grain. It took a while but seems to have done the job well. When spraying just apply primer then the paint and then lacquer just like spraying a bike Hope this helps! I've got some pictures I'll put on later.
  20. Never met him but he seemed like a awesome guy. RIP
