    Sorry, But...

The dude in the top right with the black shirt looks like he's struggling not to laugh. That pic is great. But the soccer ball wins for me so far cause... well soccer players are whimps.
  2. Not quite sure what that means... I'm usually a really passive guy. It takes a lot for me to even flip you off or yell something at someone on the street. I honestly don't like confrontation and will avoid it at every possibility. But I mean come on, what gives them the right to take something thats mine or yours or anyone's but their own?
  3. Yeah a little. But my bike means the world to me. It's how I get around, it's a source of entertainment, it's also a source of exercise for me. I paid a hefty $1500 for my bike last year and I swear if I saw someone riding around on my bike... I think we're all like that. Lately I've been thinking that maybe in certain situations where people are walking over me (this is like the epitome of walking on someone) that maybe I'd be a little scared of the situation. But like I said, I've been thinking and what gives them the right to take someone that I saved up for months to buy? What gives them the right to take something I worked so hard for that they won't even appreciate or will end up trading for something they'll finish smoking by the end of the night? Things like that just get me angry. Keeping that in mind, I'm pretty willing to go the extra mile to let people know that I won't stand for that sort of thing. I feel it almost neccisary now that I live in a large city. I lived in a small town all my life where the blatant rudeness and lack of compassion in everyone, like you see in a larger city, is almost non existant. People don't even say thank you if you hold a door open for them here. Fat bitches last night, I open the door for them and they just walk in without saying a word. I should've banned them from my store for being fat, ugly and self important. I hate fat bitches who act like they're the cats meow. Actually... I hate anyone who walks around thinking they're King Shit of Turd Island. /endrant
  4. How did he even manage that? I mean... come on. How did he hit his face. What was he thinking that he was gunna matrix jump across that shit. You ain't Neo buddy. He looks more like Jesus than Neo did though

    Sorry, But...

Zoo pulls into the lead with the soccer ball into the soccer wuss's face!
  6. $10 says that the person who stole it realized 2mins into the ride that there wasn't a seat "f*ck dude, I just sat down and there is a pole in my ass now" I hope you get it back man, I always lock up my bikes I'm on like the 2nd floor of an apartment. One around the frame, one around the tires, and one through frames again and attached to the balcony. I figure it'd gunna be harder to lift two bikes off the balcony at the same time than just one. But yeah man, look around, get your friends on the prowl. When you find it, no diplomacy. Tire iron the b*****d that has it and ask them "did you steal this, or buy this from someone" if they stole it, thats at least 3 more smack with the iron right there. If they bought it, just as many smacks until they give you a name. Curb stomp that f**ker American History X style man... minus the racism and ridiculous tatoos...
  7. It's not big but, the other day I kinda grasped the concept of tapping and got up a curb (only about 8-10") But when I got it right and I felt my bike kinda weightless and move up and forward it was pretty cool. I had only touched the curb for a second and then it was like I wasn't moving but the bike was. I was pretty stoked about that.
  8. Give it some time man. Go ride around on it for a bit, pedal, stop, pedal, stop. It does get better over time. My hydro disks took at least a month or two before I'd say they were really responsive. They just seem to be getting better and better.
  9. I think if his butt was out more he'd just fall off the back again though
  10. You're describing a makeshift recovery roll. What you want to do is actually take the initial impact on your hands, carry that momentum then onto your forearm, then to your shoulder, tuck your head in and roll out of the move. A good recovery roll can pretty much make a fall effortless and painless. Oh, and never ever ever ever ever roll directly over your back. Very bad for your spine, not fluid and just plain ol' stupid. Draw a line from one shoulder to your opposite hip or ass cheeck, thats where you want the roll to take place. EDIT: If you cannot make a proper recovery roll, then perform a break fall. We learned these pretty hardcore in Judo because well... Judo basicly is getting your ass thrown around for an hour a night. So what you do is if you're gunna land on your back or side or something and cant make a good landing, slap the ground as hard as you can with your hand. Don't just place the hand beside you, stretch your arm out (the arm closest to the side you're going to impact on) and slap the ground. I know it sounds ridiculous. Trust me on this. The inital impact is absorbed by your hand (yes, this stings the hand like hell) and then goes up the arm and into the rest of your body or whatever his the ground next. You don't have to believe me but get this, in Judo you win by throwing your opponent as flat on his back as possible to score a winning point. We sparred every day, we practice throwing each other every day. I was easily thrown 50+ every day. I was also not very good at this sport and often challenged the higher belts to try to pick up some of their good habits. So yeah... 50+ throws a day and I could walk around without a problem later that day and the next day. It works.
  11. My god.... That was... cause how did he?... f**k dude... wow
  12. If its really bothering you by the next day, try these things. Hot bath rub down by the girlfriend or the misses A55355 I think its called. Its a lotion kinda thing that help kill the pain and relax muscles. You rub it on and it heats up a little, feels pretty nice sleep and rest Dont push it man. I've had to cut about 2 days of riding a week so my knee can finally get better. If you push yourself, it'll be something you deal with every day, not every week or every month.
  13. Nice shirt, Fabio EDIT: I thought I'd add something to the thread too... Your technique is damn near flawless dude, perfect distance on the kick, wheel gets up just high enough, no noise when moving the rear wheel up (except for brakes). Smooth, Effortless (in appearance)... beautiful dude.
  14. I'd say protective gear (helmet, shinpads maybe elbow pads if you feel it neccisary) but also to gradually increase the height/difficulty of your moves. Take your time doing things like gaps and rails. They look super scary! Have fun with it man, I think the last thing you should be thinking when riding is "this line scares me"
  15. Hydro is better than cable, hands down. I've tried both and I would never go back to cable/mechanical brakes. Never ever ever
  16. Naw, that just means you get ballsier and try harder things for an even more spectacular bail! Yay!
  17. I really like Danny Macaskill. I would like to ride that sorta style some day I like Pink Helmet too, I think he also goes by TRA. He makes it look so easy. He does some pretty damn cool stuff.
  18. It's nice to see newer riders, now I know how to judge myself in 4 months... I've only been riding a month and a half now. Wear a helmet dude, seriously... there is nothing cool about splitting your head open and having the zombies eat it. Thats free food for them. You gotta ask yourself... are you a zombie lover?
  19. Just don't click on it then man. But yeah, not learning anything in school actually is your fault. Spelling isn't really that difficult. Everyone makes their mistakes but to spell like 10 words incorrectly in 2 sentences is pretty horrible.
  20. Honestly, if I was you I would've probably left by now. No, I wouldn't take crap from people but arguing on the internet is like running the special olympics, even if you win you're still retarded. Plus, people act harder and say things they wouldn't online. I posted a link to John Gabriel's theory of Internet Dickwads. You can find a link to it on www.penny-arcade.com (really good comic website by the way) Forget what people say, if you post a new topic and all it has in it is a short paragraph and then pics and videos of you riding (I still don't think I've seen many of you personally) then what can people say? Try not to take it to heart, some people I can understand being pretty hard on you... some made this site what it is today and it's their home; Whether they are mods, admins, new, senior or full members is irrelevant. Don't let it get to you. This sort of topic was just a molotov cocktail dude, you were gunna get flamed. Especially after that new account www.somethingorother.com I cant remember the exact name. Anyways, like I said in the last post. Make it about riding Callum. This is a place about riding for riders.
  21. It goes like this Sonny... If he has no hope of ever getting validated, asshatery will ensue. He has no reason why not to act like an asshat then. If he has some hope of getting validated, he may be on better behavior. Sorry to talk about you like you're not here or something Callum. Just... go through a couple of my posts man. I made some decent speeches in my first 20 posts or so. Ride or Die Callum. Make it about riding. If these people don't like you, then f*ck them. Seriously. You don't need their approval for you to know you like or even love the sport. I personally value their opinions and thoughts being a complete n00b and all. Like, do you get what I mean Callum? You only reply to the posts giving you shit and not the ones trying to offer you support.
  22. Callum... why did you do that? You had to be able to forsee that creating yet another account and using it to post bullshit on the forum was a bad idea. I mean, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out. What are you doing man? You made that video not long ago, have posted pics and such. You were on your way. You have to realize that you are going to have to work harder (especially now) than anyone else to get validated because of this shinanigans. Come on dude. I had some faith in you.
  23. Nice place to ride man, good pics too. Just don't bail, that looks painful anyway you look at it
