  5. So went 26 again and going to stick with it. Much prefer this to my old slate 2 that I had!
  6. Mine was below 10. But I had lighter rims (trialtech lite) and lighter back tyre. Atleast put a swapthing on it, that will make rear end lighter by around 400g. Go for front magie, will save weight. Mag platform pedals or echo TR or try-all/rockman cages are around 150g ligher what you have at the moment. Put KMC z610 chain on and it will save another 100 or more g's. Offcourse I dont have to tell you about TI bolts, but that is a last resort I guess.
  7. Should be epic! WANNASEE!!
  8. Tried! It did not work, I would have to file down around 2mm on each clamp to make it fit (booster is around 4mm thick), I only filed the little "teeeth" on one side of clamps that they have on the edges. Would this realy work? I was a bit scared to file the heck out of it.
  9. Hello. Recently bought a TNN booster second hand without the clamps and know that these will not fit in regular TNN clamps, so wondering if I can get any of those anywhere? Also Netto from Canada had his booster running on top of the try-all clamps as they are square, wanted to do that but can't seemed to find any shops that would have them/have in stock. Advice would be appreciated!

    Another Echo 24!

Thanks for all the comments guys! I am using trialtech sport 24 38mm rim only 6mm difference from echo ones(TR/SL) and more than half of life left heatsink coust pads. Also the brake works well but is a bit spongie due to frame flex comparing to what I had on my rockman slate, so need a booster!
  15. Finaly got this built up, had a quick ride. So much fun to ride! All the weight is prety much in the middle, so it's one good bunny hopping machine! The only thing is with 38mm rim on the back my magura slave are as far in as possible, few weeks and my pads will wear down, so I will probably will need to go for one of the echo rims. I though it looked nice without the grind so though I would share it, but it had to be done!
  16. I got myself one of these. Pattern looks better in real life and its dual ply. 300g lighter than 2.7 beast! Maxxis will be releasing 2.5 hi-rollers this year again.I think you can get hold of 2.5 maxpro 60A compound already but not the softer 42A one. Strangely the link below had 42 ETA for end of february but now they took it off. LINK
  17. Do that! Unless you are on 18-14 gearing that should be fine without half link with that frame. I snapped one long time ago and did not end up well and took me ages to regain confidence in chain again!
  18. How does the bike feel compared to what you used to ride? I am most interested in performance wise, does it limit you in any ways?

  20. My old echo urbans started cracking when I was using HS in the 4 bold weld area, sold them to a novice guy who runs disc and they are still alive! Also had try-all 2010 model and the were quite strong but were a little bit flexy, now running rockman v2s and done fair few gaps to front or up to front and they are still strong and stiff, and they are about 4-5 months old. Trialtech should be one of the best out there. Nothing lasts forever!

This video clip is from Limelight dvd, has some good clips.
  22. That is nice! Is that 18-14 ratio with no half link?
  23. Tap on the mod was prety ace! Wish he got back to 26 again.
