  1. And what about the semi-internal headset? Will there only be one type that would go into that kind of headtube? Surely not!
  2. Just the funniest video ever!
  3. I had a because frame last year with 170mm cranks and 18:14 ratio and that felt like my stock with 18:15, perfect!

I like high presure in the first place to be honest. I am not sure but maybe the 26 version has a different shape? I have 2.0, But the wider version would be better with lower presure with more contact area, especialy when the sides of the tyre are softer. I am sure the mountain king Mk2 will be 10 times better!

About 800grams! These are great! I think Urbans are fairly light, just not too strong... I cracked the Hs mount on my old ones (I think it was 2008 model)

How about sunday or if you are busy that day I have 3 weeks of uni this xmas, so just give me a buzz! Lets hope its not going to snow that bad again... I think the only thing that make riders buy these is the price, otherwise they are poo! The protector is cut down armodilo - I think it looks better that way and still does the job

Hey. As I said it needs prety high presure to keep it steady and comfortable, but then grip is not the best. I would recommend going for nevegal 2.1 - about the same price, slighly heavier but a lot more grip!
  8. I though to put some pics of my beast as there have been few changes. The front tyre has to go - compound just too hard and because its very light and has thin sidewall need alot of presure to keep it steady. Got a Mountain king MK2 to replace this Weight is about 9.1 Kg, back rim weighs a ton, so that will have to go after this winter. Some picsof a briliant riding spot where I live(Gravesend)
  9. Especially in their weather! All the guys were prety good! Good stuff.
  10. I find that with steeper angles when in a hook, brake helps to keep it steady, especialy when top is a sharp corner. But I am not the person that does 90 degree static hooks. FInd those kind of useless in most cases!
  11. Hi. Ordered from him last year and everything was fine, gave me a good deal when I bought my rockman frame and try-all forks. If you email him, he always gets back to you prety quick (even few minutes some times). But I cannot see any point if you will get anything under £100 unless anyone else hasn't got the part you want, because the shipping is about £20-40 that takes about 1 week to deliver.
  12. 2.3 barons would be great idea for trials use, lets hope there are not going to be like rubber queen! Is the Kaiser chilli compound lighter than standart - I am hoping so! These are already out already, Mountain king MK2 2.2 protection in black chilli sounds amazing on the front not like the joke they had before! Just want to see what the experts(the tarts!) say!
  13. Great stuff. It was snow and not sprinkles... When the temperature drops way lower than 0 degrees snow becomes all fluffy like you can see in the video. There were few video of that guy (1st rider) before and they had slightly better edit, but it was still great.. Also lol at German RAGE!
  14. Spanish BB's - epic fail. I am liking the frames and drop outs though!

    Frozen Brake

    Say goodbye to your brake!
  16. Looks prety good, but what is up with the mod stem?
  17. Sorry If it's a little bit off topic but, was blown away by this video and though I would share it here! Mods feel free to move it... Watch in HD
  18. Repost! I think it was about 1-2 months ago.
  19. I prefered him riding 26 even when he had an old echo! Big wheels for the win! In Russia you have to travel quite a distance to get to "new" riding spot.
  20. If that is any different to orange sky, I remember Stan from tarty had to put half link to use his der kaiser to shift it back a bit, not sure about big betty. Edit, that was 18-15 (not sure abot last one) if I'm right.
  21. I have a Echo SL freewheel that I have been using for about 6 months. Freewheel never skipped, although when I took it of to put it on new cranks noticed that it makes loose bearing noise when shaked. So I though I would get a new freewheel, got a trial-tech one, but it seemes to be skipping at very annoying times, so I though i would find out what is up with SL. Echo SL is also not as smooth as t-tech one when you spin it by hand, could that mean the bearings are gone or needs greasing? Never took a freewheel apart as well so not too sure! Is the lock ring welded on to prevent it from loosening by itself? Thanks in advance!
