HI. I own a Slate 2, had for about 4 months now. Very stiff. I ride both street and Natural but I am not a basher, but had few bad crashes where I hit the frame but not too bad. I am not big fan of massive drop gaps too. I would say I am an OK rider too. I progressed so much with this frame as well. To me Kortz 2 is way too light to have it as a everyday bike! Just in my opinion. My set up: Full HS33 no booster, braided hoses - brake feel very solid! Try-all forks FFW Doouble walled rear rim with rain king, need a grip! All brake clamp bolts are TI! - not sure if it makes a difference. Bike is about 9.2kg but it's light enough for me.

Very nice. If I were you I would grind the heck out that rear wheel and get some decent pads and not the woman ones! You should come ride Gravesend sometime with us! Give me a shout sometime!

Hi. I would go for meta myself, not just because It's a strong frame, but has horizontal drop outs ( espacially good if you are left footed and/or sidehoping to the right, like me), so no worries about mech hangers! I had a 08 GU and they were realy nice on the back wheel - I progressed a lot on that frame! They are about the same weight too. So it is realy up to you!

Very nice. I seemed to start liking what they have done with the rear end and tensioner. Less troubles with chain tension, no snailcams, etc... What are those brakes you using? How is it for trials compared to hope mono trials, just out of interest.

It's not what I realy wanted to ask, is just leaver looks will have to much unused fluid. But it just a massive looking body. Nevermind. It's me going crazy. I was kind of nakered yesterday, did not know what I was typing.

Are the cylinders smaller as well or is this just an illusion? Can you imagine 2 of these 4 finger levers on a handle bar, haha! Going to be a bit unusual in the beginning! But I am not upgrading till my 05s are dead. Will it carry more fluid in reservour?

HD is on. My display is kind of 24" as well, so that makes it even worse.

Video quality was poor, is there a reason? I know this video is more for public rather than trials-people. Although I don't speak frech so no Idea what the guy was talking about in the interview. Amazingly technical and realy high stages. Gilles is setting realy high standards for rest of the riders. Would be nice to see some propper comp footage! What is Naff naff naff in French? Excuse me for my french.

It's great that they show this stuff if France. But quality was terrible! Looks like Gilles did a good job out there, again!

My old because was prety stiff. But I was riding dual discs though.

Not sure. He was always prety quick replying to mine. Try to add him in skype and chatting there.

Although the real trials tyre in my opinion only would be rain king but 80% lighter. Just make it 1Kg. I know they claim it to be around 1kg, bloody liers! I know it's hard to make every single tyre exactly the same when it's hand made, but 100-200g is a lot of difference for a tyre! Something like that would be better than new Try-all range protection and grip wise. Got to love the black chilli compound Actualy mine RK is about 1.09 after 3 months of use.
