  2. ha tthats really made my day, thanks guys.
  3. Jesus christ i might have the solution to this My uncles shogun used to do the same thing, drive for ten minutes, splutter, cut out and then no issues. It was something to do with his fuel filter he by passed it pretty illegally with a piece of hose and hasn't had the problen since. I'm not sure on the details but thats what caused his.
  4. I've already bought her pretty much everything i can think of that she wants/ likes.... She wont tell me, wont even give me a clue. Yay the fun begins.
  5. Jealousy has reached boiling point. *dramatic internet evil glare*
  6. "All you need for this is a government building with underground tunnels, 3 super cars and a cheap app."
  7. Isn't that called De'ja vu ?
  8. I've had the weak punching dreams. Dreamt of looking into a black mirror with odd white spirit looking things in it that flew out and flew around my room, i've had it several times since i was very young it used to terrify me.
  9. What mike said, the amount of space you save isn't all that much aswell.
  10. It would. Once. It looks so delicate. Carbon rotors have been around a while, hidden all secret like. A company who's name escapes me, made a rotor and pads for a hope mono mini, the rotor being carbon. It worked, but the brake works the opposite way around with the rotor wearing and its quite pricey to replace, so they dropped the idea.
  11. Just out of interest, is the calliper loose? This sometimes can effect it. Take the pads out, is the piston moving, if not thats your problem. (Is it called a piston on a mechanical?) May just need a good service. Check the cable it could be snapped or very loose, the avid levers are sprung so it may not feel as though the brake is loose. check the inside adjuster and its internals, is everything working? If not you can get replacements straight from avid. If all of this seems to be ok replace the pads and rotor then see what happens.
  12. Again as i said nail varnish remover has always worked for me with no adverse effects. You should probably just change the pads its easier than trying to de-contaminate them and you wont compromise performance or even safety.
  13. No not really. An onza is the usual route, look at a bird or something similar. Tarty bikes will be a good place to start looking. http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/search.php?category_id=10 Any of the top few there would be good to start on, it all depends on your budget.
  14. Thats why its name is important chinchillas are the only rodent that respond to name. hmmm still lost. Its gone hyper though.
  15. Ha ha. Yer its using it as a giant food store... and sleeping right next to it, its very lazy but its cute.
  16. Hmmm... it wont sleep in its bed, its sitting next to it but wont go in...
  17. Today I got this, He's a male, standard grey chinchilla. He is the worldst cutest thing ever. Sorry about the poor picture but he's exploring his new cage like a nutter. Name suggestions anyone?
  18. Apart from the usual parental "you haven't got a job" argument all is well. I only found out it was friday the 13th from this thread. Still 20minutes for everything to go downhill.
  19. You'll probably find that under hard breaking they'll now rip off the backings. It was me that suggested the nail varnish remover and that has always worked for me. If not try using it along with sandpaper then re-bed in your break.
  20. If you dont do it just for profit you really are an idiot. Buy it, sell it, get a 20". Its what i've done for the past 5 years.
  21. If he has no braking power its more likely to be the pads, i've had bb5's on almost every bike i've owned (ALOT!!!) and i've never had any rotor problems, but plenty of pad problems.
  22. The 20% will require alot more work by yourself but may result in a little extra cash at the end of things. The 50% usually means you have very little work but could resuly in slightly less cash. So lots of work for a little more cash. Or no work and a little less, you decide. Either way thats a great deal friends got offered 70-80 plus...
  23. Lenny: Its a secret. Karl: shutttt uppp!
