  1. I wasn't having a go i was just mentioning that it isn't to do with that. No need for the sarcasm though...
  2. I had crazy bobs and hated them, if it was moist they didn't grip, if it was cold they didn't grip, if it was dusty they didn't grip. If the ground wasn't tarmac they didn't grip.
  3. Unlike the other DMR tyres the transitions have a wrap around sidewall, meaning there almost imposiable to rip, but they weigh half a kilo more than any of the others. Hookworms aren't heavy at all 100g heavier that holyrollers. But annoyingly i've just bought some, well they'll only be used in the dry.
  4. What are you talking about? Powder coating is done using a static charge that allows the powder to "stick" to the metal, the frame is then baked in a huge kiln/oven to harden the coating. The holes wouldn't have anything to do with that. Please tell me your not being serious? As has been said its for welding purposes and also allows water to leave the frame.
  5. Your not the only one. Big Brother?
  6. Its also highly toxic. So mind the mouth. We had some on the top of our fridge the powder leaked and slowly burnt a hole through the top. Its nasty stuff but its fun.
  7. If you add the 700g for the innertubes thats getting a bit more realistic. 8.2kg.
  8. First thing, they are heavyyyyyyyyy. They have quite a hard compound which isn't amazing for trials but it lasts a long while. They make no noise at all and rolling resistace is almost nothing. You can run them at high psi if you want to aswell. The tread pattern is wierd it opens when you turn hard and closes on the straight or at low pressures meaning they like to kill you in the wet. You could try maxxis hookworms, there more expensive but less than half the weight and a softer compound. I've just ordered a set but haven't used them as yet.
  9. That seems a bit low in all honestly. If you add say a RockMan Aurem frame, thats 1.53 kg. So thats about 7.5kg that seems unlikely.

  15. I don't know if anyone else saw this. Theres a short interview with him and clips from his videos. Also a couple of clips of him doing more trialsy stuff on the inspired. New link to the now working video http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00kv...how_01_06_2009/ belive its about half way through. The section on cycling starts at 22mins 30secs. The Danny section starts at 25mins.
  16. I assume you mean cannondale fatty forks as Onza fatty forks don't exist. Cranks, could concider Middleburns unless you want to run front freewheel, in which case You should concider Echo cranks and a tensile Freewheel, or if you have the money an Eno. Wheels, well trialtech rims are probably your best bet and hubs depend on your price range, If your rich get a King if your not rich get a fixed hub. Go single speed, it gets rid of the whole mech problems.
  17. That is by far my favarouite Trials bike period. If it comes out on sale like that i'm getting back into trials, its almost perfect.
