  1. Hes bald and wont let me keep a landy on the drive....
  2. Well it was almost brand new at the time. series to dark blue with a white roof. reversed town a slip way covered in seaweed, goodbye traction, hello thames. he also wrote of a TVR in it, he pulled away at a set of lights, TVR didnt stop for the red, hit the side of the front bumper and turned into aluminium flavoured dust. Dad strapped front bumper back on the landy and went home, not even a dent. TVR driver lost his license and broke both of his arms, dad was un-harmed completely...
  3. I suppose, but it did ride well. Well the ones i've ridden did.
  4. You sir have the right idea
  5. Its a santacruz so its always going to be good. The way it rides may be a bit out of date by todays standards but it should be fun.
  6. Ha ha, thats awesome. I knew they could do it but you never imagine it looking quite that steap. My dad had a series 2 long wheel base not sure what model, but he managed to park it in the thames with a boat on the back of it.
  7. I've got an 07 and it seems pretty much identical to it... although if those cranks are standard then its an 06...

    Disk Brake

I'm guessing your special? Put a spacer on the brake IS mount, this should of been the first thing you did...
  9. I've had many bikes. Specialized p1 with very little standard. 24seven slacker before the hope brakes. 24seven with dual XTR BB5/7 setup, best brake set up i've ever had, then ruined it by getting an M4.
  10. Your excuse is both adequate and useless. You are redeemed.
  11. This topic is about having matching front brake pads. GO AWAY.
  12. Muel on here had a set of modified pace? carbon forks, ask him about them. I think he rated them quite highly.
  13. Mines also an 07 with the same front pads it appears. Validation vote? hmm i suppose so.
  14. Its as bad as my t-mag. I love it.
  15. Did you not see BMI's one? It was the spotted bandana style. http://www.robertcjones.co.uk/images/bmi%20baby.jpg Awful picture. I like yours.
  16. Theres a bike pictures thread for things like this. Ok to start on.
  17. Yer that posed got to me aswell, it sounds like a voice of in-experience.
  18. Its lasted 7 years without a crack, i'm probably selling it on anyway.
  19. Thank you. I presume the origional paint was fluro yellow from the residue inside the headtube. The black satin paint is awful its pretty much one big run. Hello nitromors.
  20. A friend bought it for quite a bit more than that, bought a 19 inch rear wheel and then decided he didn't want to ride anymore. I said i'd give him £40 for it quite genuinley joking and he said yes. It came with two rear wheels aswell. It should look ok when its done, any one have any idea what frame it could be. I know its a T-mag or an old T-comp.
  21. My two bikes. Appauling photos.. T-pro 07 T-mag 02 The T-mag cost the grand total of £40 with a rear HS11 and front vee Both will be up for sale when i have a better wheel for the t-pro.
  22. Light sand paper will have no way near the effect, it will mearly take the paint of the rim surface. If you know someone who can get them to grind it for you, if not try the above.
