Thats quite shocking, they don't mass produce the guitars, so you'd expect them to inspect each one thoroughly, like Ibanez, each guitar comes with an inspection certificate. If it was epiphone i'd understand but you'd think Gibson would be obbsessed with quality.

Classic's use the origional neck styles, thats why there are hundreds of models. Standards use the current standard neck style.

Oh dear the DP... Urmm wierdest thing isnt really a food. Tiny little oranges that where so acidic they hurt your mouth seriously sour. Crushed and mixed with whisky, the stuff turned green which was worrying. But it tasted ok and it made the back of your eyes tingle.

As for what you want, to get the correct colour (although thats a popular one.)and model you have to be willing to wait, Ebay or go abroad and it can get pretty tedious. Go and play a studio anyway and maybe try find someone that stocks standards new, so you know what they should feel like roughly, before you go checking second hand ones. We can tell you what to look for, but if you go and find out what they acctually feel like you'll be able to tell if somethings different/ wrong.

The standards heavier thats the only real difference and i suppose the pickups are slightly better on the standard. If your willing to travel youcould probably find your dream guitar in your dream colour in perfect condition, but as for shops round manchester i know of none. FR5's are a good lever yes. It depends on the money you've got, i love shimano XTR levers but at £40 each they might be a little to much. Avid FR5's Avid SD7's Shimano XT Those 3 are worth a look.

Not more, its just easier. The BB7 has 2 adjustment wheels meaning you never need to unbolt it. The BB5 only has 1 wheel meaning you have to adjust the cable to move the outter pad closer to or further from the rotor. BB5's seem to have more bite and BB7's tend to have more hold. Personally i prefer BB5's with a nice lever set up.

Sl forks will murder you, but yes they will fit.

And probably worth the most aswell. Went on a couple of rides, 2 miles and then 12 miles. Few hickups on the first ride but today it rode perfectly, although its a little on the rough side when the going gets bumpy.
