  1. The name is the clue, you run an angle grinder around the rim. Suprisingly it doesn't wear the pads as quickly as you'd think, aslong as the pads are made for a grind.
  2. You may have sanded a little bit to much of the pads, also with sanding the pads you will have to let the break bed back in again. It could also be grit or exhaust fumes contaminating the pads and rotor, give it a couple of rides and if all else fails get some new pads.
  3. Yo to stop da breeks sqeeking put WD40 on dem... Bake the pads to try get some of the oil out of them and you can use acetone (SP?) e.g. nail varnish remover on the rotor. The pads will never be the same and I would just replace them but the rotor should be okay.
  4. if you can get some cheap XTR levers go for it, if not go for the SD7.
  5. As i found out today, i bought all the stuff for it online and will be buying one from pets at home soon. Yay, thanks.
  6. Buying a chinchilla. Any tips, info, breeders around nottingham? I have a whole topic about it but i thought i'd ask here aswell.
  7. I'm planning on getting a single or a pair of chinchillas. I'm struggling to find any breeders near me that sell them, if anyone knows of breeders in or around nottingham that would be great? Has anyone had experiences with chinchillas? I could also do with links to shops that sell chinchilla related goods. Thanks guys.
  8. If you post topics so large and all in capital letters it wont take you long to get band, this is also true for double posting topics.

  10. Shinedown, Soil and Counterpart. 5th of november, loud explosions and loud music. Bonfire night ***.
  11. SnowFlaked, thats really old skool now. More aesthetic than effective.
  12. All parts done. Frame half done. Excited.
  13. Looks nice, finally someone with a reasonable stem on a stock, seems like something i'd like to ride.
  14. Skidding through Road bike tub tyres is awesome. (And expensive.) If you have a crap old wheel, full speed, steep hill, skid, bang, tyre flys of the rim, continue skidding on rim, LOTS of sparks. Epic success, depending how steep the hill is.
  15. Everyones got Norco disease. Why can no one ever ride because its fun? Well i do.
  16. Callum i sent you an email asking if it had arrived, my MSN hasn't worked for a while. I presumed as you hadn't replied it had arrived, i'll cancel it and send you another i think i still have your adress. Stupid post office, if you have paypal i could also pay you through that soon, once i've validated my bank account. Sorry man i really thought you'd got it and as was in my MSN pm i was in spain for a week. I'm worried where my cheques gone now... Edit: I didn't recieve your email. 2nd edit: Sorry for the problems, it will be sorted even though it is only £7.50 it does matter by principle.
  17. Explaining it killed it so much more.
  18. A trials specific frame would help.
  19. Yer same really, not so often but i do all my own maintenance, just needed a quick fix, seems the truss rod might be damaged i had a similar problem when i had a bass and it turned out to be a screwed truss rod. I think someone may have knocked it over although no one in the house will admit it.... Well time to check the rod. Hendrix i still hate you for them, although i'm no longer a bass man they're still pretty.
  20. Yer was about to mention that, it usually goes away under hard braking, if it doesn't its very likely your rotor or calliper bolts being loose.
  21. See if its the truss rod i'd know what to do and i do all the work on it myself but want to make sure before i start fiddling. You didn't post a link. Also re-wired a friends vintage strat, was interesting to say the least. Used his other strat as a comparison (current) and the build quality of the newer ones is just shocking in comparison.
  22. Its taken off again! My strings are making a stupid twanging noise on the neck, its my truss rod right? I think the neck might be bowed up a bit but not 100%, help people
  23. See after 3 and a half years i still get beaten aswell. Even if i do explain. Its better than a hissy fit though.
  24. I like it although the toptube, downtube join is a bit to thick and ruins the look a tad.
