  1. Think i remember reading somwhere that the two of them were compatible, not sure if this is true though. Anyone know if it would work? Got the spare parts laying around, so might aswell give it a go, just wanted some advice before i go experimenting. Jamie
  2. In terms of geo, nicest frame round atm. Looks pretty strong, but the weight makes me think otherwise.....
  3. I suppose, but never having rode a Ti frame, couldnt say to be sure. Although heard that Ti frames have a different feel to them; springy/flexy, compared to Alu frames, which are stiffer.
  4. Weirdo Ku managed to crack his Czar round the bashplate. Its not really a design fault or anything, they're not designed to land heavily on, more there to protect the chain/freewheel.
  5. According to Tarty, an alloy bolt weighs 65% less than a steel bolt, whilst titanium bolts are 43% lighter than steel bolts. So titanium is heavier. I guess the weight saving comes from the fact thay can use less material, as its much stronger.
  6. PIMP! But isn't titanium heavier than aluminum? So the weight saving in the stem wouldnt be too much, even if there is less material, and not to mention the price. Bars on the other hand WANT!
  7. Anyone who is goin, will they politely remind Ryan, that he still has my cranks, pedals, freewheel, bb and bb tool, that he borrowed 6 months ago! Tis beyond a joke now. Cheers, have a good ride.

  12. Weathers OK, slight drizzle now n then. I'll be out whatever.
  13. I'm there Rolling on little wheels though
  14. Took me a year! Only learnt when i got riser bars, so may be worth thinking about changing ur setup.
  15. Im 5 ft 5, started on a short Echo Control, felt fine with a 110 x 15* stem and riser bars. I did have a 80 x 30* stem on at one point, which made it easier to get my weight over the rear wheel, but now a little better i prefer the feel of a longer stem. Now moved onto a short Zoo Pitbull, which has 5mm longer chainstays, and its a big improvment, gapping is now much easier and i feel more comfortable on it, maybe because the reach is less? Not really sure to be honest.
  16. +1 Now grind it! Then u can actually ride in this crap weather.
