Woah! Amazing skills! That roll up/hook thing on the pallet wall was awesome
  6. I'm out Taking a trip across the pond, to IOW instead.
  7. Decided that I want some white parts, so deciding to paint the rims, forks and brakes. Been down to the local B 'n' Q, only spray paint they had was Hammerite stuff, but for 10 quid a can, it's too pricey. Looking for something cheaper, don't mind buying it if it's decent stuff. Just wondered what paint other people used, also how did you do it. Do you have to use a primer and lacquer, or just paint? Any help would be much appreciated. Jamie
  8. No worries. So where abouts in Pompey are you? Theres a ride this saturday if you're interested.
  9. Start using capital letters and fullstops, then you may have a chance of being validated.
  10. We all know trials beats surfing any day! So youre deffo joinging the MTB club then Simps? Saw you the otherday, was down guildhall with nathie wafie.
  11. I used a file on my rim, wouldn't reccommend it unless you've got nothing better to do. Took me about 2 weeks to finish my rim. Using some sort of power tool/drill/dremel must be quicker and easier. This is what it turned out like, didn't really save much weight, but looks pimp Jamie
  12. Awesome! We need more trials riders in the club, outnumbered by the DH guys. When are you in Pompey, i've got tuesday off and wensday/friday afternoons off. I'll be up for a ride anytime.
  13. Hiya Alex, im in the club, meet you last week in Pompey (riding an Echo Control). Membership has gone way up this year, but as you said it does cover other clubs aswell, things like surfing, rock climbing and pretty much any other sport. So if you want to join more than one, it will be worth it. If you ride any other disciplines, DH/XC/Dirt jumping etc.. then its worth it, as there will be organised trips to trails/jumps which will be heavily subsidised, so if you go on a couple of these it'll pay off. However if you just want to ride trials then i wouldnt reccommend it, the uni will pay towards competition costs (entry/travel) so if youre thinking of doing the Hampshire comps, might be worth a thought. If money isnt an issue, then its just a chance to meet like minded people and have fun. Even if you dont become a member, youre obvouisly still welcome to come to any rides. (should be riding every wednesday, as everyone has the afternoon off, and probaly the morning off if youre lucky!) Jamie
