You are more than better off sticking with tartybikes. Trials uk are scammers although selectbikes are quite good, although there website is out of date but if you ring them they are very good. Go for some trialtechs EDIT: OOOPS

Right, it looks like to be able to run a bashring on the bb I need a skf bb as it is the only one with a spacer which is what the bashring replaces. So it looks like I will have to run one on the cranks, now will my bb be long enough though?

I think i will run single ply in both, I need to know if my bb will be wide enough to take a halfring either on the cranks or on the bb threads?

Anyone else wanna share their precious knowledge? Don't have a clue about stock tyres, can someone give me some pointers please?

Right, need to know if the 165 cranks I have will be ok to run on it? And need some info on this way that ali c has been mounting his bashring using the bb threads, and would my 122.5mm bb work ok with this?

Just had a look round this morning and have found that the cranks are 165mm so what would be the best gear ratio to use with these with a 18t front sprocket? Also took my bb out and have found that it is 122.5 mm (try-all) will this be ok as I was goin to run try all cranks with fixed sprocket and try running a bashring on the bb threads?

Right found another crack in my xtp2 so that makes 6 and a few have got bigger and I thought in stead of getting a new mod frame (and I can't find one that takes my fancy) I might well try stock. Now I would like to use as much as I can from the mod and firstly would the cranks be ok? I run 165 try-all cranks with a 18t fixed sprocket on and after a bit of searching have found that if i ran a 16t back cog it would be ok. Is this the case? Also would I have to lengthen the hose for my rear brake? It is a magura and is just about the right lenght on the mod? I would be using monty ti bars although have heard these are not so wide? would they be ok? bearing in mind I aint the biggest lad anyway. Also I would have to get a bashring and have seen that people such as ali c have been using the thread on the bb to place it on the bike. Can anyone explain this in further detail? Any help is much appreciated and if you would like anything from my mod i haven't talked about give me a pm and we can go from there. EDIT: Also looking at getting a new stem so what would be best on a tight budget?

I would love a mod version of the stinger, wouldn't mind a stinger it self for that matter.

Go with the matt black stealth idea it sounds great, if not go for a sort of lime green with some black decals on.

IMO you should just get better quality parts now rather than having a poor bike and having to spend more money in the long run. I would advise you go for a pair of the trialtech wheels as unsealed onza hubs don't last too long and will look a lot better. Aslo you should concider going ffw now and please don't bother with an ACS claw freewheel, they are bad news. Other than that looking great so far.
