  1. Thats what you think until you use a try-all tyre
  2. Yeh try alls are great and weigh a lot less, although the ware rate aint so good.
  3. That was rather cool, some great riding in there.
  4. Just to let people know they are the try-all yourself replica bar and stem, I don't think its a case of being overtightened or unevenly. Ben you should probably check for cracks but cant see how it would have from being sat in a garage for quite a while.
  5. A stanley knife would do the trick, I cut some croco material to put in my phat pad backings and they went in ok, and the phat pad material (with modification to backings) went into the plastic backings quite easily. I would have thought it to be similar for these.
  6. I think I know what you mean, have the cranks been run with a bashring, if they have they could probably need a spacer put in them along with the freewheel. Edit: not quick enough
  7. I had a suspicion that it was you, anyway video was good and some nice moves in there.

  9. Brilliant riding there, edit for the first part was great.
  10. He's coming along really well, will you be at the bssa trial tommorrow?
  11. Fantastic riding, made the video nice to have no music.

Well doing stuff like that on a lightweight gasgas was never a good idea, I too know people with good and bad experiences with them bikes, give me a sherco anyday.
  13. I know your probably thinking this is another of those topics on "which one is best" but i've done a bit of searching, after deciding I don't like my pisspot, and can't really find what I am after. In my lbs i noticed the giro rift (in white). Has anybody had any experiences with these, if so what do you think? If they aren't all that good what can you reccomend? I would prefer a giro because of the popularity and asthetics etc but don't have a big budget for one.

Looks alright although if I were you I would put some stem stackers in, maybe more rise on the bars and strip the rims to silver using caustic soda. Look in my sig for an example, y rims were try-all too.
  16. I'm gunna try and make one but no promises as I'm quite busy at the moment and only got my pot off today!!!
  17. Yeh I just got the impression that older people rode stocks, I'm about 5 foot 8. I'd like to know some more info on the Kot please.
  18. I wouldn't sell it, I'm just interested in getting a second bike, sorry.
  19. Right, I have got really fed up with my bike braking all the time an I fancy a change. I was looking at getting a stock but was wondering if it was the right move. I am 15, 16 in a few months is there like a sort of guide for age? I'd be using it for all types of trials so what would you reccomend for me? I have been considering a Kot ms2 long, what are your views on this? Any advice is welcome thanks.
  20. Right I have two new questions but didn't want to make a new thread..... -Anyone got any sort of magic voodoo tricks for getting a bb out as mine seems kind of stuck? -How long do you use metal cutting discs for when you are grinding as mine seems rather rough and doesn't give such a good grind anymore.
