    Tm2

Try this link - http://tv.isg.si/site/?q=filebrowser/trialmedia/TM2 The direct one isnt working for me either. Downloading now at a healthy 1004kb/sec
  2. Yeah it gets spammed all the time i'm afraid. We've given Sue an admin username and pass for the guestbook and she clears them out from time to time.
  3. I've never been 'hacked'.. probably 'cos my passwords pretty much impossible to guess (by a human) and i'm guessing the same for danny. I closed the first topic cos I knew it would turn out like this, but this time you really were asking for it so I left it open.. and now i'm closing it again. If you want to open yet another topic feel free but dont expect me to bail you out of some abuse by closing it for you again...
  4. Change your password and log out then...
  5. Errrr... is it scanning files all the time? If so turn off that feature and do a weekly scan or something. Cant say ive ever noticed having a virus, just be careful what you download..

You still need them to enable the TV channel bit of the cable though methinks. Also you need to type in new key's every now and then (every month I think) for it to work. Check out www.satdudez.org - and if you ever want a box let me know and I may be able to point you in the right direction
  7. newzbin/newsgroups if you want to download them quickly Series 2 is a bit rediculous to be honest. They introduce about 5 new story lines in each episode and resolve 1, god knows whats going on now.
  8. You need to watch them all really... but they're really addictive, not usually one for tv (except for neighbours of course) but ive watched all of lost. Episode 10 of season 2 is out on the 10th, bout time too
  9. Same here - mine you could easily bend in half if you wanted, as you say theres nothing to them except enough material to hold the rubber tight against your foot. dunno where people get the idea that theyre stiff.. Would be far too uncomfortable to wear riding, could probably feel the pins/spikes of pedals poking through them too.

The sony one is by far the best for channel changing quickness and the 7 day guide, but it costs £70. Mines a cheap (£40) matsui one (my mates have got exactly the same one just with different badges on the front) which works fine. We did have a bush one for a while which was utterly crap - so dont get one of those. Actually ive just found mine at argos for £35 branded wharfdale - http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5320503.htm and its now got a 7 day guide it would seem
  11. Go to www.ukreg.com - they offer free domain redirection (what your looking for) when you buy the domain off them
  12. There you go you're validated again - enjoy, sorry bit of confusion
  13. Ive got a new motherboard and 64bit processor coming tomorrow, just wondering whether its worth installing 64bit windows on it? I should really know this being a 3rd year computer scientist and all but havent really got a clue about this 64bit lark

Of course you'd still use computers if you were blind how would you download music otherwise.. and go on TF..

Nah, but if you hover your mouse over an image for a while the alt text should pop up after a couple of seconds

    Google

No. It stands for alternative text.. as has been said its so that web designers can give textual descriptions to images, so when blind people use readers for looking (EDIT: errr.. reading) (at) web pages they know what the images are about

  18. Ditto If anyone has one we can drive to mongolia...
  19. So the only 'real' designs (by that I mean ones which arent just '2plus1clothing' in a fancy font with some mess around it) you have are 'inspired' (ahem) by t's off threadless... nice.
  20. Sorry but what a load of bollocks. I started on a 19" steel rock hopper, and loads of the best riders about on here will have started on similar bikes. Pisses me off when people think you need the latest/lightest/greatest trials bike to get started on. Keep an eye on the FS section for some forks, good luck - if you like it you can start replacing the heavier bits with lighter bits as you get better
  21. Surprising to see that soooo many of the bands I used to be into in school are still popular nowadays. I'll try and remember a few I was into when I was into these kinda bands... Errr... Amen Glassjaw Disturbed (ew) Hundred Reasons Machine Head Mudvayne Refused Rival Schools Jimmy Eat World Pitchshifter Static-X Tool. Havent listened to much of that in the past 3 years or so but if theres any there you havent already listened to you might find something you like. EDIT: deftones! how on earth did I forget them.

Or set up an FTP server on your PC so your mates can log in and download your stuff. Or get DC++ and make your own hub and get your mates to log into the same one.. Or use gmail (as long as the file you want to send isnt over 10mb (split it using win rar if you need to) and email it to them (this way you can email it to more than 1 person at a time too)
